Emily, it was great to see you and Daisy yesterday, although I wish the cir****tances were different.

My daughter asked what I was going to do after retirement and I told her that I was thinking about becoming a blogger. She asked me if I was worried about stalkers.

I was shocked that someone would be spend their time stalking a writer of tax issues for retirees, but she thought anyone could be subject to that abuse.

yea that does seem like an odd place for a stalker to stalk, but you never know!

Sorry you're experiencing the pain in your side. I remember the great feeling of starting to eat solid food again after surgery.

I'm getting better and working through my PT and have been able to start walking on the treadmill. For John, he is doing as good as can be expected for now- managing the pain and resting when he can.

I few things helped me in recovery: of course massages and acupuncture, but also IR light therapy. I got a lamp from amazon and its great for any type of injury, or recovery after the swelling is down. As Im getting older, I use more and more of items like that.

It can limit scar tissue and help with recovery.

Thanks for the link, I'm going to check it out. For my ankle, it's the scar tissue from the sutures that seems to be the last healing part.

I feel like I should apologize for how I drive in Chicago and Chicago drivers in general. I definitely have to drive aggressively but defensive at the same time. At side street intersections to congested major roads, I have to start inching in or wait forever(like 5+mins sometimes.) It's the same with merging on Chicago's main highway in the city in bumper to bumper traffic, even with your signal on.

I will usually travel in the middle lane and only go in the far left when I need to pass a bigger truck and then I'll move back over as soon as it's safe. But there are always people who are too antsy and pass me on the right before I have a chance to move back over.
