What's on your Tuesday Menu?
G'morning all!
Yesterday my beloved forest trail opened up. You would think what the big deal is, but while I was jogging on the trail that I hadn't been on since before Xmas, I really appreciated the scenery with beautiful tall redwood trees, the damp soft trail (I hate running on asphalt and in the street), and the quiet beauty of it. Not all the trails are open and 3 miles in, where they call the winter gate, is still closed. But for my near future purpose the 3 miles in and 3 miles out is more than perfect. Even the trails that are "open" have a lot of broken branches that create a natural obstacle course. I was even happy with that and giggling every time I had to jump over one. In short, yesterday I was a very happy camper to be back where I belong.
QOTD: nope, not at all. The max I do is play roulette. DH loves it when we are up in Tahoe to play craps; he must have explained the rules to me 100 times but I don't get it, too much math/probability involved. He usually walks away a winner.
My meals yesterday:
- Coffee
- Turkey links, quest chips
- Sf jerky, unexpected cheddar cheese
- Hb egg + tuna pouch, sharp cheddar
- E: 5 miles wog
Happy taco Tue!

Today is DH's bday. Sounds like we have breakfast out, a movie and dinner at Indian restaurant. Should be a nice day. I am taking the day off from workouts. Yesterday the yoga studio started the 30 workouts in 30 day challenge so I will need to make up today but they are having an inversion workshop on Sunday that can count toward todays missed workout.
QOTD: not really just a lot machines. Waste of money since they are games for the house to profit from.
Accountability: didn't do weight workout yesterday and added an extra protein drink. Felt I needed the extra calories since I was feeling sluggish.
meals up in the air.

Hey menuers!
I feel like I?m winning at life today - my surgeon cleared me for full liquids and COFFEE and it was raining so I went through the Dunkin? drive-through and got a small coffee and the car ahead of me had paid for me so I paid for the car behind me. There are good people in the world.
QOTD: nope, I?m too cheap. I got sucked into some sort of blackjack in September on a work trip and lost like $300. Fun for half an hour but not worth it!
Onto phase 2!!!!
Meals so far:
The last of the sugar-free orange jello
Two cups of chicken broth
A small coffee with half and half and splenda
3 tbsp of cream of wheat
And for the rest of the day I?ll plan on a light and fit toasted coconut yogurt, a sugar-free pudding, and cottage cheese.
These simple foods are a JOY after only jello and broth since Jan 22!!!
