What's on your Tuesday Menu?

I try not to let myself have my 2nd cup of coffee until after I'm done; it helps with the motivation!

I can't consider getting into a shower without my second coffee. I'm a zombie. It takes me an hour or longer to be able to walk without tripping over my feet. Ugh.

Good Morning Queen JB and Menuers,
Glad things are slow and steady with no excitement QJB. Hope you continue to sail smoothly.
I had to take my car for an oil change today and found out too late yesterday they now have pick up service. This means next time I need service I can come to work, and they will pick it up. This will make life so much easier. I have been going and getting a shuttle to work. That requires tipping the driver because she is so nice, but the upside is they have a coffee machine that makes whipped coffee. That I will miss.
QOTD: The largest bet I ever made was $500 on a Superbowl square that I split with my uncle back in 1996 and we won $5,000. It was not a legal bet, and it was scarry carrying that amount of money. I bought my first computer with it. In the early 90's I would hit Vegas at least 5 times a year and still till this day never took the Damn tour. We got married in Vegas and I played craps in my wedding dress. I have a casino less than 10 miles from my house and you will see me there often. I play the slots or if I want to drink for free, I will sit at a 3 card Poker table. In the summer there is live Harness racing on Friday nights there. We go up and bet and horses and hang out track side. They have a fun outdoor bar with a great happy hour. I also bet the lottery often. Just yesterday I hit a scratch off for $500. So, my answer is yes pretty much daily.
Accountability: I did not exercise. And I continue to shoot the Aldi Salted Caramel whipped cream in my mouth every time I pass the fridge.

I wish I had a casino that close that provided comps. I don't go to play poker in the local casinos often since it's usually a couple hour wait-list. I stopped buying lottery tickets 20 years ago but did get a few 1k winners on scratchers. My favorite scratcher was always a bingo variation. What's your favorite scratch off?
I see Light and Fit creme Brulee in my future. I'm looking forward to making a trip to a huge grocery store. They have a great selection of everything. What other flavors of Dannon Light and Fit do you like?

When I can find them, I like the Boston cream pie, the apple pie and the tiramisu options. They seem to be more regional than seasonal though.

I play scratches by denomination not by the game. I also only scratch off the tab for the win and scan them because I hate Lotto dust. My husband thinks I am crazy.
As for light and fit. Toasted Marshmallow caramel apple pie, and tiramisu are my go-to this time of year. I think you'll like the Creme Brulee it is kind of got the sweet that the coconut has. Hope you find all the flavors you are hunting.

Good morning! Lots to do today, but I've just learned we can't borrow the truck we planned for today so I shall pivot to other chores. I just have to get this rock situation done before we leave on our road trip in 21 days. Feeling lots of stress over that.
I had a very successful day with both food and exercise yesterday. Lovely walk along the beach and a little yoga routine. Today will be organizing my closet, making all the beds upstairs now that the carpet is done and furniture is back in place, getting groceries and and getting ready to take the RV out for a short trip this weekend. I also must get in a walk at minimum.
QoTD: I love me some penny slots. I'm all about the bonus round. I'll be doing that on Thursday night. But in general, when planning a trip somewhere that has gambling, we budget each of us $20-$30 each per day and when it's gone, it's gone. Last time I was in Vegas I won $540.00 on the penny slots while Rog and Ryan went to the Golden Knights hockey game. I then spent it by taking them out to an awesome dinner with a nice bottle of wine. Easy come, easy go.
Menu:
B: small amount of tamale pie and maybe an egg on top
L: beet, orange, goat cheese salad with a little roast pork
D: Shepard's pie. Rog has a craving for it.
Peace Everybody!
