Thanks. He is electrical and deciding which specialty. I know that he thinks the RFE stuff is voodoo.

I always hated electronics circuit design stuff. I agree with him it's VOODOO. I knew I could learn it if I really applied myself but I just didn't want to. I really did not like it. But communications, Fiber Optic, lasers, etc. - that are fascinating things... Add liquid crystals.. more solid states, not optics. My specialty was optics when I studied. the optics - you can actually "see things". Unless it's in invisible to human spectrum...lol.
One of big problem for some engineers, as we get older we have a harder time to deal with stupid managers... so.. either you are stuck or to advance or go into marketing, project management type jobs - you have to have people skills and some other like business degree.
I id not like an idea to become a owner of a company - but I changed my mind when they assigned an uneducated person to be my manger... I just couldn't... so I signed up with a start -up.

QOTD- Not much, we used to go to the closest casino for the buffet, but now that we've both had WLS it's a bust. And honestly I hate the smoke in the casino. I do play slots on my phone but not for real money. I love the horse races but the track is gone, and the last time I came home with a horse so it's probably somewhere that I shouldn't go.
I didn't get my walk in but instead put together my lawn mower, that's been sitting in a box by the front door for months. It was easy to assemble and I mowed the lawn. It's a push mower so I did get in some exercise. Just learning how to use it was a trick. I haven't mowed a lawn in over a year, and haven't used a push mower in a lot of years. I picked up all of the limbs from the wind storms and pruned the roses. I felt like I accomplished something. Still a ton of leaves that I need to deal with. At least it was a start. My yard probably looks the worst in the neighborhood, mostly because all of my neighbors use a lawn service. Their yards are manicured and the service comes every week.
I've lost 5lbs of the regain, so I feel pretty good. It's a slog though. By logging my food I realized how much I had gone back to my old habits of snacking, and eating pretty much anything I wanted. I know that is not how you maintain, and a recipe for disaster. I have to keep relearning the same lessons, maybe someday I will get it.
Have a great day everyone!

Good job on the regain loss. You definitely have to have a clean lawn with the push mower, even a small stick caught the wrong way stops the blades but I really liked the workout if mine. It's better for the grass too or so I was told

Great job on your loss.
I think it was Maddymoe *****c'd this book to prevent regain. "Refuse to regain". I'm reading it right now and it deals a lot with how not to go back to your old days.
