QOTD- Coffee and tea with nothing. But I do have a Fairlife mocha with truvia & unsweetened cocoa first thing.
I've been working on not eating breakfast so early, then I don't have such a long evening. I'm usually not hungry first thing, but I do need the coffee and I wait on that too.
The rain is supposed to come today, so I'll see how the walk goes this afternoon. Rain gear and I might wear my fedora to keep my glasses dry. I'll let you know how it goes. My roommate admitted that he gained 10lbs, so he is cutting out the wine too. He's a big guy and was drinking it in a tumbler so way more at one drink than I did. But still it is so easy, I figured without doing anything else but cutting the wine I should lose at least 1lb a week. It's too easy of a habit to get into.
We did another Costco run and there were the chocolate mousse that called out to me, but there is no way I could eat 6 of them, or should be. I seem to recall they were 280 calories a piece, and were tiny. I did put them in my cart, and then returned them to the shelf. So I call it a win.
I've been trying to find protein bars so when I want something sweet I'm at least getting some protein. So far the ones I've tried Atkins is too high in calories and tastes awful, Simply Protein is eating cardboard with a little flavor thrown in. There used to be ones that I liked but I can't remember what they were or where I bought them. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Have a great day everyone!

My family seems to like the One protein bars. Quest are also an option which I like better.

Good job on putting the mousse back. I like barebells and built bars

Just discovered the Built bars at my local grocery store. I like the ingredient list and protein for the calories. Got some, haven't tried them yet! I end up realizing after the fact that I try stuff you guys are all eating, sometimes!

I like Fit Crunch - they're 180 calories each. I also buy Pure Protein bars sometimes (both of these are available at Costco, as well as other places). I don't like Pure Protein as much as I do Fit Crunch, but they're more filling and higher in protein (I think they're about 20 g vs the 16 g in Fit Crunch). I used to eat Quest bars after my surgery almost eight years ago, but I'm not crazy about those any more.
