What's on your Tuesday Menu

Good morning everyone and yay for Tuesday! Tuesday is not monday! All in all my monday wasn't too horrible, it was just a lot of stuff but I powered through it and feeling better about the rest of the week. Getting my full sleep quotient helped too!

Nothing too exciting planned today -- I have my usual personal trainer session tonight so I just did a 25 minute elliptical walk this morning and then I'll get that workout in, my bookclub was moved to monday due to some conflicting schedules so that's off the agenda but one of the bands I love is releasing a virtual concert to their patreon members tonight so I will be watching that....probably while folding laundry!

I worked on a new series on my pilates reformer called snake yesterday; it's really a side plank with a pike on the carriage but I was nervous because you take off the footbar; I didn't do it perfectly but I think it was a good start. I think they finally have the sensors fixed on my reformer because I finally got all the measures so can see my speed, weight moved, consistency and control. Tomorrow I want to redo one of the classes it didn't work on just to make sure. yay for pushed software updates!

QOTD -

Watching - "The Last of Us"; "Mayfair Witches" and finally caught up on the old seasons of GBBO that I found on the Roku channel. When I am ellipticalling, in addition to the trainer session, I have a show from Netflix that I am watching called "Mind your Manners" -- it's fun.

Reading - I just started a nonfiction book called Nothing But The Night about the Leopold and Loeb case from the 20s. I've always heard about it but had never read anything about it. I've got 7 others in various stages right now too but that's the main one.

Listening - I just finished The Tribe about the religious cult; it's an Australian podcast but it's a US grown cult, the local branch here is likely the cause of the fires last year outside Boulder from what I remember of the investigation. I started Culpable: Season 2 but am only on the second episode.

Accountability - I ended up eating lunch late yesterday so I wasn't hungry enough for the lasagna bowl so just had some ever roast and cheddar cheese, and I did switch to a Boston creme pie yogurt since it was national pie day...not to be confused with March 14 and National PI day.

Menu today

coffee plus half and half X 3

Magic spoon cereal with fair life milk

pita with deli ham, cheddar, and pickles

rgf Lasagna bowl

snack yogurt dip with carrots, cukes and cherry tomatoes.

Have a terrific Tuesday everyone!

Yay for sleep! How funny, I posted before reading and see we used the same "nothing to exciting today" line-they say great minds think alike, right?

I am glad to say I have never been to the one here. I didn't know it was tied to them until the podcast though.

I am a fan of the RGF Lasagna bowl. I found them a week ago for $7.99 for 2. Wish I would have bought them all now that I tried them.

Live music is the best! Maybe even virtually. The last concert I went to in person was Mumford and Sons, if that tells you anything! I liked them so much better before they updated their sound.

I know of them but I don't know their music. I do try to be supportive of my favorite artists new music but sometimes it's just hard. My last live concert was two weeks ago and the band is putting out a new cd in March so they only played new stuff and it was excellent (it was a short show for publicity so that's why it was all new)

Live music is so much fun! I've only seen Green Day and AFI in Denver. With social anxiety it's hard but man what a show this was! They absolutely killed it. They are one of my favorite bands. It was wonderful and LOUD!
