I love the Hallmark Mysteries, too! I think I have seen them all like 10 times. I decided to read the Aurora Teagarden series and it is truly fascinating how much they changed everything. In the movies Aurora is so lovable and kind to everyone. In the books, Aurora is a racist southerner who has to give herself a pep talk before her library shift every day to remind herself that black people have a right to use the library, too. Ugh--what? And Martin is a gun-runner in Columbia, not a CIA agent. Also, Aurora & Martin slept together before they even got to dinner on their first date, and their entire relationship is based on sexual chemistry--unlike the books where I think everyone in the town was still a virgin, lol. It's actually kind of amazing to see how Hallmark took the basic premise, shook it up, and white-washed it until it is recognizable but also totally different.

Mornin everyone.

Yesterday sucked. For those that may not of seen my update last evening...I did get in to have my staples removed. After getting most of the ones out of the incision on my back I sprang a leak of clear liquid. It wasn't a lot but they all freaked out and he ordered his nurse to go get a stapler. So he stapled it back up and added more than was originally there. He asked me if they hurt and I said very much, he then awed about how tough I was/am. It hurt oh so very much. so alllllll the staples have to stay in at least another week.

Thankfully I was able to hold my moms hands and I didn't hurt her hands. It still is hurting a great deal. As I walked out of the building I bawled. I feel defeated. All I want to do is sleep or nap. Hoping to force myself to chainmaille today.

QOTD: I've been watching a few new seasons of shows in NatGeo on Disney+. Drain the oceans and something I think is called egypts treasures or something similar. All I've been reading is tutorials.

B: slider pretzel bun with cheese ham and 1/2 tbs of mayo and coffee

L: Pork butt made into enchiladas with a white sauce

D: ???? Maybe a white bean soup I'm making in the crock pot

S: pistachios, cheese and ???
