What's on your Thursday Menu?
QOTD- 2 Centrum Silver Multi's, Calcium citrate 2 times a day, vitamin d, Bariatric Fusion Chewable Iron. So far my levels have been good.
I finally made it to the nature park and did a little over 2 miles, it was wet and the footing wasn't great so my time was pretty slow. I'm going to try to get out every day even if it's just a mile.
I have to revise a job, so I'd better get going.
Have a great day everyone!

G'morning all!
Did you hear the news? Pres Biden is coming today to Santa Cruz county to assess the storm damage. Per his schedule after his visit to Capitola, President Biden will deliver remarks in Aptos at Seacliff State Park. This is where all those pictures of cement ship SS Palo Alto I've been posting. He is expected to speak about his commitment to supporting the people of California during their recovery, and promised not to throw paper towels into the crowd. I read somewhere that central coast had NINE atmospheric rivers since Xmas.
QOTD: I take bariatric advantage chewy multi and calcium. And since my last appt with the coordinator I have also added an iron patch.
My meals yesterday:
- Coffee
- TJ kebabs & Fage yogurt
- Jello
- Shredded pork
- E: cardio + weight
Happy jr Fri-yay!

Well, at least he's not throwing paper towels. That was jaw-dropping to see on the news.
You could go to hear the remarks and ask him about classified documents in his garage. I hear he's been keen to talk about that!
But, all kidding aside, I'm glad there has been visibility and acknowledgement for the impact of the increasing amount of disasters. Unfortunately, the disaster fatigue is real. I have so many conversations with people from regions impacted in the last year who see the response and interest levels wax and wane with the news coverage. Ex: regions in Kentucky are still struggling with housing and resources months after the flooding...but dollars have dried up to address the needs because of subsequent emergencies. It's getting rougher out there.
I hope your region recovers quickly! Sorry for the bit of a soapbox there!

It's good for him to see it firsthand. And also to not throw paper towels!

Good morning. It looks beautiful out, but it's 40. For us, that is freezing. I'm supposed to do the stairs today, but right now I am really balking at doing them. The thing is, I know I'll be mad at myself if I give myself a pass on them. I could do a HIIT video, but nothing is as exhausting to me as those stairs, and my Monday class is at a once every 8 week location where everything we do is on stairs at Mt. Helix. I feel like if I skip the stairs today, Monday is going to just hurt so much more. Decisions, decisions.
I did excellent on food and exercise yesterday. 50 minutes of yoga and 3.5 miles of power walking. And it felt like a LOT when I was done. I did have two glasses of wine with dinner. Seems my friend needed just a little bit of extra instruction . Today I need to exercise, finally get gas in my car, look for comforter sets for the grands bunk beds to go with the new painting and hopefully hit up the library for books. Then it's off to another friends home for an evening with them. I better just make myself go hit the stairs, wine calories are going to be a thing this week. If I just go now, I'd be home before breakfast time...
QoTD: I'm reading all yours with great interest. I have been staying true to the Bariatric Advantage program the surgeon put me on 4 calcium chews, 1 Ultra solo horse pill multi vitamin, B50 complex and a iron chew, plus D gel on Mondays and B-12 on Tuesday. My numbers look great, but with going on the road for so long I would love to reduce the volume I take as well as the costs.
Menu:
B: last piece of crustless quiche and harvest salad
L: leftover cauliflower lasagna
D: no idea. She'll have lots of good options for me though!
Peace Everybody!

Why do you take B12 + Ultra Solo? Recommended dose of B12 is in there.
Also do you take the Ultra Solo with Iron? I do and your right horse pill and smells like horse manure. I hate to burp after I put it down it is gross.
