Oh, I have Stats class stories. None of them pleasant so I won't share. Good luck, I think there are probably more ways to get support now then when I last took a stats class. You will probably be able to ace the legal HR right from your own experiences, lol.

QOTD - I'm on the board for my work's local charity group and I think the last thing I did was our giving tree reach out in December. I have to do a communication this week, though, summing up last year and getting people ready for our events this year. It's on my to-do list for today, in fact.

Depending on how much snow came over night, I'm meeting friends to see Woman Talking this morning, need to get a light elliptical session in, write my communication, and figure out why my fridge water dispenser is not dispensing water (but assuming nothing is leaking anywhere, that's not a must do).

menu today is a bit up in the air

coffee plus half and half

barebells bar

bunless burger

yogurt

salami

Have a good day everyone

Good morning QJB and menuers,

Wow, who would have known that about uranium? Instant death...somehow feels like trying to consume a black hole.

I don't envy you those courses JB, but you've got this! Kind of nice to have everything early so you can do what you need to!

QOTD- There's a nonprofit farm I put in some hours at. Focused on bringing fresh food to families who don't have access to healthy food. I've also volunteered at food pantries, some helping hands orgs, and animal/people rehab programs. Nowadays I do try to drop food in the local boxes.

Sitting outside my clinic for my 7:30 appointment since I'd rather be a half hour early than 2 minutes late. Looking forward to being done with needles for the day. Work today shouldn't be too busy since it's a holiday. There's a MLK celebration to be at later. Fortunately, today will be my only office day this week. I have a lot to get done!

I got all my planned cooking done yesterday, if not all the planned housework. I mean, are you ever really caught up with that?

I do need to make a decision on the orthodontist and oral surgeon. And I did try to call them all Friday but it seems a lot of medical practices like to close early on Fridays. Go figure.

Accountability- Good! I battled back and forth for a while on the handful of cashews I really wanted but ended up with water and casserole instead, which was on plan.

Exercise - if I get home early, elliptical. Kinda nice that it's so cold in that room since it makes me want to work harder.

Menu

Oikos triple zero yogurt, chicken soup, leftover tuna cake, turkey breast roast, spaghetti squash/sausage/broccoli/cauliflower/tomato casserole

Have a wonderful Monday, everyone!

Mornin' All!

We were told in college that stats really isn't math, but I never understood that. Seems like math to me! However, I always did well in math and I absolutely loved college calculus. But...I hated stats. I did well in that, too, but that and macroeconomics were my least favorite courses in college. At least I got to skip it (stats) in both my master's programs since I'd already had it as an undergrad (not that I remembered anything, but of course I didn't tell my advisors that since I didn't want to have to take it again!)

DH has the day off - not sure if we'll do anything today or not. Yesterday he was with his mother most of the day, since she's still dealing with severe anxiety. I mostly just read and then went for a walk with a friend. I'll read again today - I'd like to finish this book we're reading for my book club. I also plan to go to Aqua Zumba since I think my foot (with its frozen-off warts) might be able to handle it. Other than that...???

QOTD: I've been on the board and/or committees of several non-profits, but I don't think any of those would count as "community volunteering". I also volunteer as a legal guardian for a woman in skilled care facility who supposedly has no family (although I later found out that she actually does, but it appears they're estranged), but I don't think that would be considered community volunteering, either. So...nuttin' :-(

B: plain skyr with cranberry/cherry compote, coffee with half & half

MS: protein shake

L: the other half of the Lomo Linda Southwest Bowl that I had for dinner last night

AS: protein muffin

D: salad with chicken strips and light dressing

have a great day, everyone!
