If you were here, I would connect you with the physical therapist I used, he was amazing. Good luck with the evaluation!

Is your endoscopy just surveillance or are you having symptoms that need a look see? I see you had VSG, reflux and GERD can be common after surgery. Some people have to have a conversion to RNY due to inability to control symptoms with antiacid medication.

Sound like you figured out a parking situation for your appointment.

Wish I had a solution for the cat fights. My cats were my husband's pets and after he passed away the fighting and fur flying started. The male was the aggressor and Feliway did not help. After the male got cancer and had to be put to sleep, I decided to only have one cat, because I did not want to take a chance on that happening again. That female is 18 now and usually very quiet and well behaved, but she does get anxiety when there are changes, like my moving this year. Feliway does help with that. They have their own minds and it is not easy to figure them out.

You will probably fly into Cleveland airport and it is about an hour drive from there, mostly on . Lake Erie can be as pretty as the ocean on a nice day and the resorts are nice.

we lived in Cleveland when I was really little, and then my dad took a job in Toledo. My mom's family was still all back in Cleveland, though, so we went there a lot. We used to take route 2 along the lake a lot rather than do the turnpike (unless we were in a hurry, of course - route 2 takes longer). I remember it was a beautiful drive!

It is a beautiful drive, especially in the summer and fall. Lots of vineyards. I have not taken that route in years. I used to drive from Warren, OH to Detroit at least once a week and stuck with the turnpike most of the time. Sadly, I was always in a hurry.

Oh I forgot you were in OH! Actually Grim is coming with me for the drive and we will make it an adventure--we really like our cross country driving trips together! We'll be driving to NC later this summer!

In that case lets be sure to meetup. You will be on Route 80 and it will be easy to find a good place to meet. Kathryn White (can't remember what she used on this site) lives in Youngstown and I think she will want to meet you too. There is a Quaker Steak and Lube in Austintown that is right off the turnpike and has excellent steak.

The original Quaker Steak and Lube was an abandoned gas station in Sharon, PA. It was turned into a restaurant in 1974 and decorated with vintage automobiles and old license plates. Their food was fantastic and we would wait in line for hours for their buffets. The one in Austintown is an exact replica of the original. They have grown to 42 locations around the US. Also famous for their hot wings. I think you will both enjoy it and be very convenient for you to stop.

G'morning all!

QJB - I feel for you and the eggs prices. I mostly felt it last week when I was doing the eggfast. Wheewy!!!

I don't mean to be a broken record but we survived another day of constant rain. In my area the rain was all day, thankfully with not much wind, so no visible damage. But unfortunately the Monterey peninsula might become an island today due to several roads being flooded. A friend who teaches in that area was so stressed yesterday because everybody was forced to go to school, while the majority had a hard time reaching the school. At least for today the schools are shut down. The local news channels are reporting mudslides, sink holes and road closures around the clock. We need 3-4 days of break but doesn't seem like we'll have it till next week. Today is supposed to be calm and no rain before the next round d starts tomorrow.

QOTD: climate change? They say the ocean temps in 2022 were the highest ever recorded, that's why we have these kind of weather extremes.

My meals yesterday:

  • Coffee
  • Mex cauliflower rice + ground turkey
  • Jello, epic chicken
  • Costco egg bites
  • E: cardio + weight

Happy jr Fri-yay!
