Mornin everyone.

JB, you might try Feliway. I've heard it works for a lot of people. Has there been any other changes? New furniture? New cat pan place or new food?

I'm so freaking exhausted. The pain is just almost unbearable. I took half a pain pill yesterday and it helped very little but I'm going to try another one today with an extra Benadryl. There is no comfortable position...anywhere. Sorry to be a Debbie Downer. The 25th can not come fast enough.

Not sure what is e plan for the day. Other than we're going to make some soup to put up in the freezer. My mom is wanting to go somewhere but I forget where. It's good for me to get out a bit but I honestly would rather stay home. Pants are uncomfortable.

QOTD: unless someone has a cure for the itching I get from opioids I think I'm ok. LOL

B: duck egg and a sausage link

L: soup and cheese

D: fish filet and ???

S: ????

They are wearing Feliway collars (!) and its maybe helping a little, but not enough, clearly.

They haven't had any changes except that it low-key started this spring one day when we opened the window and they got a whiff of pheromones that seemed to set them off and its never been the same :(

Oh man that sucks! I'm so sorry this is happening. Sometimes our two litter mates fight tooth and nail but then they cuddle up. Never lasts long when they fight.

cats can be so odd!

Our 2 litter mates, (female) don't fight too often but the 2 we adopted a few years ago will fight sometimes. One is the alpha of our cat pack and the other clearly has mental health issues and is at the bottom of the cat pack, (even the kittens don't respect him. It is sort of sad.) I agree that cats can be so odd, (among other things I have come to learn about house cats lol)

Thanks! I am in a not so good mood today. I'd like to take all 68(I missed 4 of em) staples out this second. I'm wishing you much good news on your shoulder/arm with the doctor visit!

Good morning, everybody!

You know the saying "out of sight, out of mind"? I recall that every morning when I sit down to post. Over Thanksgiving, my older son moved our comfortable office chair out of the computer room and replaced it with a wooden chair that was probably DD's when school desk chair from when she was 8. So each morning, i come downstairs, see the green wooden chair and say "I need to switch those chairs out." Then I forget about it for the next 24 hours.

I missed Chrissy yesterday, hopefully everything is OK.

Amy- I saw the Santa Barbara road flooding on the news last night. I hope you are warm, dry and snuggled in at home.

Matt - can you ride in a regular car? It didn't occur to me to offer you a ride until last night.

I woke up at about 3:30 and could not get back to sleep. To put it mildly, I do not thrive in these early AM hours. I am still torn between going back to bed and going to 6:30 Crossfit.

Today is my Friday. I have a slew of stuff to do at work, gym and I need to pack. Our flight tomorrow morning is early.

QOTD: I can't think of anything that I don't know the answer to but are just unwilling to put the effort into fixing. Or young adult stuff that I am already commiserating about.

Breakfast: Egg sandwich

Lunch: Steak

Dinner: Hello Fresh

Have a great day, all!

I?m going to do it right now!!

UPDATE: I didn't rat you out, but Marilyn did not appreciate the noise of the good office chair being carried down three flights of stairs while she was sleeping.
