You got me at Mango! I haven't tried making fish tacos at home. Sometimes get them at the food truck but they come here regularly.

I had trouble with meat for a long time but found if I do a crockpot it did wonders for me to be able to get more in. Mississippi Pot roast and Crack chicken changed my eating. I also recommend adding eggs. Hard boiled gets some protein in. I use hot sauce on them. One more suggestion have you tried the tuna packs? They have them flavored and there is no prep just open the package and eat. Good luck

We had Mississippi Pot roast last night, so good. Have not tried crack chicken, is it as good?

Crockpot crack chicken is so good. I usually eat it in a bowl. I also been known to put it on a low carb tortilla. No recipe says to add dill pickles. I add them cold after it has been cooked right before I eat. so yummy.

Thanks for posting crack chicken. I could try that. Funny that I used to like dark meat but now it nauseates me. Thanks for the tuna packet idea, I haven't tried those. Maybe there is a flavor that appeals.

G'morning all!

Very relatable meme. I don't have a Fitbit but my run doesn't count if I don't have my Garmin on. I've been known to go back home and get it and then go back to the trails to start my run. It's that say "you didn't run unless you logged it on your Garmin!"

If you have heard the news about Nor Cal bomb cyclone we are sitting right in the middle of it. I had never looked at and refreshed the flood evacuation maps so frequently. I know this is stupid but why are these maps divided by numbers? Why can't I just read if my neighborhood is part of the evacuation? Instead I had to figure out that we are in CTL-054 area and keep my ears and eyes open if that number comes up. You would think by being on a cliff we would be safe-er but with the amount of rain we are getting it's a free fall no matter where you are. The people who actually live in the low lands, by the beach , have been dealing with serious flooding of homes and businesses. And after all this we are still not over the drought, too much water and too fast. Go figure.

QOTD: ugh, so many. People who pass on the right (I understand it's legal in US, but it still freaks me out). People who use the left lane not for passing but for cruising. People who tailgate you. My pet peeves are plenty.

My meals yesterday (eggfast day 2):

  • Bullett coffee
  • Scrambled eggs w/cheese
  • Egg custard
  • Egg loaf
  • E: 60 minutes elliptical (can't go anywhere outside with the rain)

Happy jr Fri-yay!

I think they do it by number name vs address because they can get large chunks of people notified at the same time; also it makes it easier for deed/insurance type paperwork. I hope you guys don't end up having to evacuate and sadly familiar with too much rain but not enough to offset the drought because it didn't come "correctly". Stay safe!

I thought about you and the rest of our California contingent when I heard about the floods. I'm glad it's so far so good - hopefully you'll continue to be safe and not have to evacuate!
