What's on your Wednesday Menu?
QJB-sounds like you had a nice day yesterday. Good for you finding some interesting things to do the relieve your boredom.
Yesterday I did get down to the work gym and got a weight circuit in. However, I decided that instead of a weight circuit in which I complete all body parts each day to do a 3-day split body part workout. Mainly because I would be doing the same body parts 3 days in a row. So, I will start that today. Today is just wor****il my workout at yoga.
QOTD: I loved kindergarten. I remember when I started 1st grade I was like "what the heck, this isnt fun like kindergarten". I would say my college years were my favorite.
Accountability: good

G'morning all!
Woopsie daisy, I forgot to post yesterday, I have fallen out of the habit of posting every morning. Hope you all had a great Christmas and New Year's. My holiday was great having the kids at home and visiting with friends. Things I did and enjoyed during the holidays
- Quality time with my kids
- The house full of noise and laughter not just with my kids but also with their friends. Is it weird that every time a door slammed I smiled?
- Typical holiday activities (Xmas in the park lights, ice skating, driving through neighborhoods and admiring the decorations and lights)
- Rewatching old favorite movies, board games where my kids proved again and again that they have gotten faster and smarter than me.
- Enjoying the people and festivities after the Covid 2 years hiatus
- Catching up with friends who have moved back to our area after 6-8 years in the Washington /Oregon area.
- Lots and LOTS of baked goods exchanges (my kryptonite)
Things I didn't do:
- did not log in any food
- did not workout at all
- did not stress about my food intake (sorta)
- did not say no to any kind of sweets
So putting the two categories on a balance sheet I still think the positives outdid the negatives. I just have to jump back on the wagon and repair the food damage I did during the last two-three weeks. I told my trainer to go easy on me this week because I hadn't done anything, but do you think she listened to me? I have a feeling she is punishing me.
QOTD: HS years were fun.
My meals yesterday (I am doing the egg fast for this week to jump start the low carb and cleanse from any sugar):
- Bullett coffee
- Egg loaf
- Hb eggs
- Egg soup
- E: cardio & weight
Happy hump day!

Sounds like an amazing couple of weeks for you. Welcome back! Your trainer is helping you get back on the horse, maybe?
I have to ask...what is egg...loaf? :)

Oh, fascinating! Will have to try this. I've been experimenting a bit with low carb breads without a lot of success. Thanks for sharing!

I like it as a sub for French toast. I drizzle a little bit of my sf syrup on it and it's very satisfying.
