What's on your Wednesday Menu?

Happy Hump Day! It's Wednesday, right? I had a very nice day off yesterday! It was cold, rainy and dreary so I really had no desire to leave the house, but I was boredddd! But I decided to take a few virtual tours of a favorite museum in NYC, I read a fun book, and did some no-pressure cookie decorating. I also watched a few episodes of a show that I knew I would like but Grim wouldn't like. And I knocked a few more things off my to-do list. All in all a very nice day. Hoping to recreate it today :)
QOTD: What was your favorite age when you were growing up? I remember loving kindergarten so much! I also really like the last few years of HS :)
B: egg bites
L: fish tacoooooooooos!
d: ?? probably chicken, but I might break out the crock pot and do something more exciting after I go to the grocery store this morning.

Good morning QJB and menuers!
Love that meme today. Reminds me that if there are things in my life that aren't great, it's on me to change them.
QOTD - So far, my 30's have been my favorite part of growing up. That's when more financial stability kicked in, though only recently. Childhood is kinda blurry and fragmented memories.
Today is my last work from home day this week. Feels like there was too much salt going on yesterday and everything is swollen. I also assembled the pantry last night, finally. Still need to work on all the hinges but since finished happened last night at almost 11, I was done. 11 is way past my bedtime.
More meetings and things today. I'll drive into town later to pick up an order. Next week is a busy one for work, so trying to get as much as possible out of the way.
Menu
Two good yogurt, delicious chicken soup x2, beef stew, bit of charcuterie.
Hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning and happy mid week everyone; we are almost at the end!
Today is the back to normal day from a schedule and activity perspective so I'm looking forward to that; the day goes much faster when it's too busy to get everything done!
My rowing series that I'm doing is 6 endurance sessions across the English Channel; I'm on 5 of 6 this morning so that will be a nice long workout before my first early meeting. Afterwork I have a few things I want to get done around the house but really no big plans for today.
QOTD - none, I think I've been an adult since about 3, lol. Every decade has gotten better and better though so my favorite time is always now!
menu today is
coffee plus half and half
italian beef and Turkish potatoes
meatball with cheese
protein hot chocolate
Have a great day everyone!

Jen
Memories do seem to run together as I get older. Everything was so intense when I was younger. I had to learn what was important and what is not worth stressing over. There are good and bad memories from every part of life, but like Jen, today is the only time that is really important. The current day almost always feels like the best day of my life.
Real life begins where your comfort zone ends
My best days are also now. Especially since WLS where I feel reinvented and inspired to do more in life.

For sure this. It takes time to build your life into the one you want! One day at a time, and it is what you make of it.
