What's on your Monday Menu?
That was probably scary for you and Em. I am sure the fever and dehydration didn't help. I have given the medicine that causes the heart to stop for several seconds. Even as an experienced nurse those seconds can seem really long before the heart starts its normal beating again. I am happy they were able to get her heart rate down. I hope Em is feeling better and her follow-up appt turns up negative for other causes.

Good morning ~ Glad you had a nice holiday weekend and I hope you get some rest today! I had a lovely Christmas morning with Rob and Jess, then at my sisters house with all the family - it was wonderful, we laughed till our cheeks and stomach hurt! We got home late but I was wired so I stayed up and watch Sound of Music - a nice way to wrap up Christmas. Today is catch up for all the things plus I'm hoping for a glorious nap!
QOTD- Snow skiing for sure. I'm talking cross country or bunny hill though. Not a fan of water I can't see through so water skiing has always been a no for me.
Yesterday - a little bit of everything and some wine - not bad at all!
Today
b- coffee, tamales made by my sons grandmother
l -leftovers - tamales or lasagna
d- leftover lasagna or tamales
This menu sounds too heavy - no way I will eat all that. In fact, I'm craving a salad just looking at this.
water water water!
All the carbs must go! Tomorrow is clean eating.
Have a wonderful day!!

Good morning and happy Boxing Day! I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend, a good christmas and is enjoying one more day of rest or energized and ready for the new week if it starts today for you!
My holiday was wonderful full of good friends, laughs and happy times.
I have my workout for the day in and I'm trying to decide between going to see The Whale and going to the bookstore; I've also started the process of taking down the inside christmas decorations which I'd like to finish today and I need to fold some laundry. If I'm not careful it will end up being one of those days where I think about all the things I could do and then do none of them, lol.
QOTD - I've done both and I don't love either...but I'm much more of a cold weather person and I'm not a good swimmer so I'l go with snow skiing.
Today is a bit up in the air for food,
I will have coffee and half and half x2; probably a yogurt before a leave the house for whatever I decide to do and then I'll play it by ear.
I'd like to make a chicken dish to have for leftovers all week but waiting to find out if I need to go work from my besties for a few days so her kids can go skiing with their dad; she's still not able to be left alone....and my besties husband is not known for being organized ahead of time so I am expecting an 8 pm text some evening saying "we're headed to the slopes at 6 am, can you come". I don't know how unorganized people survive in the wild.
Have a terrific Monday everyone!
