My mother said I was three years old and asked her why she did all the shopping and then gave credit to that old man. I believed that Santa existed but that he just sat around at the North Pole and people gave him credit for the hard work they did.

We never left butter out and since I am alone a pound lasts me more than a month or two, so I only buy the one with canola oil that spreads easily.

It is 8 degrees here and going down to 1 by 10:00 AM. I bought the new robot vac and mop combo from iRobot and set it up last night. It went through and mopped all the floors and vacuumed the area rugs.

I might stay in my pajamas all day today. We have our annual Christmas Eve party tomorrow and I am concerned about driving in the snow. I will probably ask someone to pick me up instead.

In a way, I like snow at Christmas. The neighborhood here does luminaries, and they are so pretty on snow. They used to be just brown paper bags with a lighted candle. I think most people use battery candles now.

I vote for staying in pjs all day for sure!!

Have a PJ day and relax! I watched the entire season of Wednesday on Netflix yesterday if you need an idea...it was good, although I think the first season of their Sabrina the Teenage Witch remake was better.

Good morning ~ I hope you feel better! I keep feeling a touch of this or that, Rob too but so far it has been going away - thankfully. I really don't want to miss my Christmas dinner with my family. It's rare that I get to see my 4 year old grand niece, she is just everything and I'm excited! Today is more plugging away at my project that is now very boring, then off at noon and getting my hair done.

QOTD - Yes I did and I don't remember when that changed, but I remember questioning my mom and felt like I had to go along believing for her. I did the same to my son - if you don't believe, you don't receive! It was fun at the time, but I would do it differently now.

Yesterday;

b coffee, HB eggs, 2 cookies with staff

L - frozen leftover mystery container was bust, it had been in there too long I think. Work brought in deli platters so I had innards on a plate.

d- low carb quesadilla

s - 6 Grinch Hershey's kisses - they are too cute not to eat

d- pork chops, green beans for sure tonight!
