Hope you're able to get out tomorrow! Your style has changed since your first piece but that one has so much color and character. I love it! :)

My cat was hacking and vomiting almost everyday. I stumbled across an article on the internet about whisker fatigue. When they eat wet food from a bowl, they can get food on their very sensitive whiskers and it causes them a lot of stress. I switched my bowls to shallow bowls and the problem went away. She stopped vomiting immediately.

Checking in from the other side of death. I woke up with food poisoning around 11pm and it was a terrible night. I'm ok now but...ugh. Never eating again.
QOTD: OMG everything. I have 3 weeks until school starts and I need to reorganize every inch of my life.

Oh no, take it easy, drink some water with electrolytes (water is the thing that is not coffee) and feel better!

Good morning friends.
I feel so badly for all of you in this weather pattern. Don't hate me when I say they are forecasting 77 degrees for Christmas Day. Yesterday I got in a 3.5 mile hike with several big hills. We went to every market known to man it feels like. We managed Costco, Trader Joe's and the regular grocery store all in one afternoon. I got almost everything I need. I feel a bit guilty that I didn't get triple cream brie for my son in law. Just regular brie. It's the only one he eats, so I'm guessing my guilt gets the better of me and I go back out for it. And I think I need more regular milk. Other than picking up the turkey (No antibiotics EVER, Amy, lol), we are in great shape for the next week at least.
QoTD: I want to make and freeze waffles for Roger and the grands for next week. I have a big container of mix and I couldn't see buying Eggo's when I can just make them. We will be having the girls over several days during their 2 week school break. Also I need to make a tray of cornbread so that it can get stale for stuffing croutons.
Today is a pedicure and then I have an eye appt this afternoon for new glasses. Sneaking that in just before my 2022 benefit expires. And our weekly dinner date with our friend.
Yesterday's meals turned out to be left overs for breakfast and lunch and delivered pizza for Roger and Lasagna and meatballs for me. I ate 1/2 a meatball and maybe 2 ounces of lasagna and was stuffed. Always room for wine though. Right now my mindset is I am owning up to the wine and I'll deal with moving away from it after this season. As you well know, that mindset seems to change from day to day. My weight is staying stable, and I am chalking that up to my increased activity level.
Today's menu:
B: leftover meatball and cottage cheese
L: leftover bit of lasagna and a small salad
D: Meatloaf, a bit of mashed potatoes, small salad
