What's on your Tuesday Menu?
Late afternoon snack attacks are my nemesis too. I also push food intake to as late as I can. As morning is my least hungry time of the day it's an effective strategy for me.
Good Morning! JB- great pics and enjoy snuggling the cutie tonight. Yesterday flew by and I was able to catch up on a few items that I held off on last weeks since I needed to print some reports to complete so it was easier to do in the office. I do need to elevate my ankle better today. The new team member seemed to jump right in and help with the busy payroll day.
QOTD: I don't have a specific one but it would be a Hallmark type one of some sort.

Good morning and happy Tuesday. I had a successful food day yesterday. All I did after I got home from workout was clean up, run to the library for new books and read. I swear it was noon before my toes defrosted even after the hot shower. And I must have really strained in class yesterday, as I blew a blood vessel in my left eye. It's only a tiny bit aggravating, but it's surely not a pretty look on me. And I had wine at the end of the day. Two glasses.
Today I have a facial and then I'll take my walk. Hope to come home and have the energy and focus to do some resistance band work before I clean up for a marathon day of food stocking. Roger and I have a hot date after he finishes pickleball of Costco, Trader Joe's and the regular grocery store. It's got to get done as Dad arrives on Thursday and I need to be prepared. Rog and I are debating lunch out (he says yes, of course) or left overs so I can maintain control. Or maybe dinner out as a reward for accomplishing everything. But I always feel guilty if I go out to eat after I've just stocked like the end of the world is coming.
So my menu is very much going to be audibles:
B: leftover pork roast and cottage cheese
L: if home, left over pork chop and sweet potato
D: my list says meatloaf -- we shall see.
Peace Everybody!

you will probably be cooking every day while your dad is there so you deserve a pre-break in the cooking, even if you are well stocked!

Hello Tuesday Menu People,
QJB-The meme is cute and funny! Beautiful light displays, it looks like it was worth braving the cold. Glad your busy schedule is normalizing.
I wasn't too good on getting online during my time in Las Vegas. I will try to look back to read previous days posts to catch up. We had a great time. The family was pretty much split up the entire time. DS and DH were focused on the bodybuilding contest and expo. Then visiting local lifting gyms on Sunday when all events were through. DS and DH were super excited since they were able to see many of the elite bodybuilding superstars. DD and I did go to the expo for a few hours. I got a lot of fun samples of supplements for DS, a free shirt, hydration packets.
DD and I had a great time. We did go to the fitness expo for a few hours on Friday, but DD is not really interested in this sport. After, we rode the SkyLinq (large pod Ferris wheel). I am not sure it is worth the cost, maybe if it was $15/pp versus +$25/pp due to where it is located (behind 2 tall hotels). you can't really see a lot of the strip until you get to the top of the wheel. However, you do get to see the far horizon and mountains on the other side. We also took a horseback trail ride in the desert (it was beautiful), did the scenic loop at Red Canyon BLM, got a massage, went to Ka: Cirque d' Soliel. Ka was really fun to watch, the aerial tricks were fantastic. I will definitely go to another Cirque show. We also did a magic show. My eating was not on point, so today I am back on track with accountability. Tonight, I am going to my first Gonzaga basketball game with a friend. I brought my workout clothes so that I can get in an elliptical session midday since I won't be able to make yoga tonight.
QOTD: I always wanted to see the light in NYC at Christmas, so ELF is a good choice. Not sure about the second movie.
B: triple zero greek yogrut, keto granola, berries, cold brew with half n half
L: asian chicken salad with light seseame ginger dressing
D: Mixed berry salad with light poppy seed dressing
S: light baby bel cheese, 4 squares sf chocolate, protein frosty
E: 45-60 min elliptical
Have a terrific taco Tuesday.
