Glad you got the dental appointment so quickly. Good luck with that. I have gone to the dentist with soreness that I thought was toothache and turned out to be sinus flare up.

Good morning QJB and Menu Folks. Thank you to those that reached out on my post yesterday, I appreciate it. It is time for me to dust myself off and be strong and get back to where I need to be. I have only been to the gym 2 times since March. I am getting back full time next week, too much to do this week.

Day 2 of yearly ISO surveillance audit, day 1 went well. I ended the day with 1505 calories yesterday. Much lower than when doing Keto.

QOTD - ELF as well. We just went to NYC a couple of weekends ago, we drove to Albany Ny and took the train, Hotel was in a great location, close to times square and central Park.

B- Two hard boiled eggs

L - Caeser Salad with chicken

AS - Celery and dip

d - Rib eye steak tips and asparagus and cottage cheese ( last night we had soup instead of tips)

E - not sure, bust night of errands after work.

Your NYC trip sounds like a lot of fun. I used to drive I80 to New Jersey, then take the train over. The one place in the world where I just will not even try to drive is NYC.

Beautiful photos and those lights!

The forecast for Christmas is in the high 30's then warming to the 50's. That is unheard of here. It likely won't get anywhere near that at my house, 2 miles inland and surrounded by pavement it's always warmer than predicted. I will still have to bring in my extensive orchid collection that live on my open porch, they do not like temps below mid 60 degrees. There are always frogs, lizards and other critters hiding in the foliage. My dog and cat will love having live playthings in the house. Ugh.

I will wrap my gifts today, I am finished buying. My favorite Florida department store location is closed because of Ian damage, a lot of places are. Most of my shopping was done online. I like going to stores as I can put my hands on the purchase before I swipe my card. I will be working Christmas, which is okay, as I get off at 3. At least I did not get the overnight shift!

This morning I have my mammogram. I almost forgot, I though I was finished with medical for the year.

Menu. Protein shake, apple, leftover spaghetti and heavy on the meat sauce. Maybe eggs tonight for dinner leaving the leftover pizza for Hubs.

Good morning ~ Beautiful pic's QJB - you guys look great! Yesterday, delegating went so-so. I ended up doing some of the things I intended to delegate but I had such a productive day that I left work feeling great. I'm organized and ready to tackle another beast report that is actually 2 months worth - pray for me ya'll - it's a ton of work. Since this is fairly new to me, delegating parts out isn't an option this time. As much as I love Christmas, I'm looking forward to next year already. Past the holidays, work being more manageable and focusing on getting this weight off.

QOTD - Definitely an old movie for me - Miracle on 34th for NYC or It's a wonderful Life for small town homey or Christmas in Connecticut for country NE living. White Christmas too!

Yesterday

b coffee, yogurt, progranola

l-meatballs, marinara, parm

d- pulled pork, coleslaw

s - 2 glasses of wine and salt and vinegar chips

TODAY:

b - coffee, HB eggs

l- chicken, mexican cauli rice, salsa

d -chili

s - tomatoes, no wine or chips tonight!!

Have a wonderful day!

I feel you on doing two people's jobs. Hope your company is intending to hire help! The year is almost over, so hopefully you get a slow period.

Mornin' All!

Wow am I feeling like bloat city this morning. Not sure what this is - but not calories. Must be too much sodium or fiber. Ugh. Well, at least it should keep me from eating much until this passes - I don't like feeling this uncomfortable and it certainly doesn't make me want to eat!!! I'll use that to my advantage...

I have a dentist appt at 10:00 and an online mah jongg game at 1:30. That's it. Although I may go to one of the Italian delis and pick up some chicken sausage or turkey sausage for my Christmas lasagna. We're going to get the same storm Jim is getting, but they're calling for c. 6" here - so we won't be hit quite as badly. I hope not, anyway. Still, 6" at one time is a lot of snow for us. I also still need to get a couple of vegetables for the (Christmas) salad. I was going to hold off until Friday or Saturday since they're perishable, but maybe I should get those as well. Or wait until Saturday, when they (hopefully) have everything plowed. UGH. I hate winter!!!

I still haven't exercised. I have GOT to do something today!

QOTD: nothing is coming to mind...

B: plain skyr with cranberry/cherry compote, coffee with half & half

MS: protein shake (I'm going to try to wait until I get home from the dentist's office, so I can push everything else until later in the day - easier to control my calorie intake that way!! (late afternoon is my worst time for snacking!)

L: protein muffin (?)

AS: Ratio yogurt

D: salad with chicken and light dressing

ex: SOMETHING!! ANYTHING!!!

have a great day, everyone!
