I love the snackle boxes that people post pictures of, but I have to admit this looks a lot more functional.

This photo does not do it justice. It was two banquet tables, and he did a bar top and center pieces for the cafe tables. All the meats were made in my mother's basement. He does make one of the best Prosciutto's I have ever had. He has worked in the meat business all his life and continues to keep the next generation involved so it does not become a dead art. He's been known to ship many boards. We had cousins in the service and was able to get a few to Iraq. It's a little late to ship at this point though.

Happy Friday QJB and menuers!

Slooow start to the morning today. I had a hard time getting up and just wanted to sleep. Which reminds me, my follow up sleep study is tomorrow night. If I'm lucky, maybe no more cpap. I did read through my chart notes for the first time and found out I have periodic limb movement disorder...that was never mentioned! Anyway.

Still not feeling top of the world but I tested negative and don't have a cough or symptoms beyond a headache, so I'll still drive up to the tamale party. Will wear a mask, buy a store appetizer to play it safe, and wear gloves if I help with stuff.

QOTD- I did watch the new Pinocchio on Netflix and enjoyed it more than anticipated. But then, I like some of Guillermo del Toro's stuff like Pan's Labyrinth.

Accountability- Great!

Exercise - probably not, just to be safe

Menu

Yogurt, rouladen, last of the turkey meatballs, cottage cheese, protein chips. Don't intend to eat at the party as of now but will see how I feel. Definitely won't be drinking.

No good pictures this week outside of the ones I take of the dogs. Have a good day, everyone. Stay warm.

Good morning and happy Friday.

Yesterday I was 100% on food and zero adult beverages. Ta dah! I can do it. I had my DEXA scan yesterday. Let me first say, modern technology is amazing. I was in the scan place for a total of minutes. Within an hour I had images in my account. Two hours later the radiologist report was loaded and an hour later my doctor was massaging me. I was very impressed. But I sort of fail the scan I guess. I've got osteopenia of the spine and osteoporosis at the hip level. Did NOT expect that. But my doc says it's just starting and the plan is to maintain my calcium and Vit D levels and work on weight bearing exercises and recheck in 2 years. I've got some learning to do, but I see a lot more stairs in my future.

We actually have no plans now until 6 am Monday morning. So I think we are going to try to go for a bike ride. It's about 8 miles and meets my 30 + minutes a day goal. Plus I love this ride. But it's going to be real chilly by the bayside. I have on three layers now and will add at least one more if we do it. Maybe even jeans over my leggings. Brrrrrr.

QoTD: We are watching Wednesday, the new Criminal Minds and For the love of Todd. Reading Christine by Stephen King right now. And all the cooking shows.

Photos are of our little flyer!

Wish I could upload the little video. She had so much fun. Her parents bought her and her sister 10 more flights for Christmas. They are going to be SO excited.

Menu:

B: leftover chicken and butternut squash

L: maybe out? if not, left over greek chicken and hummus

D: carne asada meat and veggies.

Peace Everybody.

LOL - I noticed that, too. And yes - I'm sure she meant messaging. It'd be nice of doctors gave massages, though!
