What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu?

I like British royalty shows like the Crown and was looking forward to the Meghan and Harry documentaries. I am watching, but it will take forever to finish them because I keep falling asleep. They are so boring.

Casey Anthony's family was originally from here so I did watch and pay a lot of attention when her trial was going on. I am sure she killed her daughter and managed to get away with it. I will watch the new one to see what facts might have changed. I had forgotten about the new one, so thanks for the reminder Emiepie.

We actually watched two different ones the past few weeks. The first one we watched is a three part series with her side/interviews on Pea**** I think she had something to do with the death but I don't think there is enough evidence to prove she was involved-it's unfortunate that there isn't closure.

Good morning, everybody!

It turns out that Marilyn and my older son didn't have to take the southerly course home. So they are about 7 hours out of Chicago and should be home by dinner time tonight. My son does most of the driving, so my wife is mainly along for company and a few hours of driving if he wants to take a rest.

Yesterday, while they were at a stop, a wind gust blew his truck bed cover off its frame and over the front of the truck. It ended up puncturing the cover and breaking his antenna, so he will have to get those replaced while he is home.

Me and my youngest went to the Greek restaurant downtown. It was the usual restaurant situation: hungry so ate a little bread, split a salad with my son, and then I was pretty much done. I ate about 15-20% of my entree, tops. I am looking forward to having some more of it for lunch today. But when I am eating alone, I usually just go to Jersey Mikes for a sandwich.

This weekend should be pretty low key: Crossfit, wrapping presents and enjoying the boys company. Our gym has a party Saturday, but those are fairly short.

QOTD: I have also been watching Stifler's Mom in White Lotus season 2. I have kind of watched it out of order and not full episodes. We will watch the second Yellowstone prequel when it comes out. We haven'****ched Yellowstone yet, but loved 1883. Lots of football. Books have mostly still been John Sanford thrillers. I have my Folio Society order in the house, but can't remember what I bought.

Breakfast: Meatballs

Lunch: leftover meat pie from Greek place

Great Photos Jim. I love Jersy Mikes. I have actually been to the original in Point Pleasant NJ. They have a great Tuna salad I usually get in a bowl since someone here said they will make a bowl of any sub on their menu. Enjoy the weekend.

I will have to try the bowl. My go to is Roast Beef, provolone, mustard pickles and spices.

I have had that one too. I would add a fried egg to that if it was an option. Yummy.

It was in Nebraska or West Iowa, so no wind breaks whatsoever.

Yay! On the relaxing day. How many people do you allow for your classes?

yesterday, I was up early to make a 6am yoga class then get ready to travel. The flight was uneventful but had a 20 minute delay in leaving. It was a direct flight so it was ok. Plus allowed time for the family to eat before the flight. My father?s girlfriend is able to get our hotel room comped for our stay. We are staying off strip by a few blocks but the hotel is very nice. It does have a casino, not that I gamble. We had Benihana for dinner. I was amused because they put the calories on the menu but I am sure that it did not include the calories in the copious amount of butter they use during the grill cooking of the food. They were very generous with the butter. Food was delicious. Even better was the free price tag since she was able to get this also comped.

weekend plans are to attend the bodybuilding expo, take a horseback trail ride, mob museum, visit my dad, and whatever else comes up.

QOTD: just finished White Lotus, really great suspense and characters. The Mindy Project, Wednesday. Audio I am listening to American Girl by Wendy walker (recommend), just finished The Things We Cannot Say by Rimmer. Reading Mad Honey by Jodi Piccoulet

accountability: excellent until dinner ?

today and the weekend meals are tbd. I will try to color inside the lines but allow myself a little freedom to enjoy the trip. No exercise planned. Hoping to walk a lot.
