Morning all! Happy Hump Day!

I am teaching a cookie decorating class tonight and I think I am ready! There is soooo much baking and prep to do for these classes. I love them, but it's a lot. I have another one on Saturday, too, but I am starting to worry about the forecast. Looks like the crazy weather system that's sweeping through the US is set to land here as a nor'easter on Friday night...Fingers crossed that we can make it work.

QOTD: Do you have a five year plan? This is the first time in my life that I have absolutely no idea what I am doing next and it's a little unnerving. When I get my time off, I am hoping to come up with plans A - Z!

B: Egg Bites

L: almond flour chicken nuggs

S: babybel cheese

D: I'm probably not eating because class is from 6-8 and I need to start setting up at 4:30pm.?

Good morning and yay for the half way mark of the week!! I hope the rest of it goes fast!

We were only delayed for driving about 45 minutes yesterday so not too disruptive. Made it in time for team dinner and finding out that there is a mandatory white elephant and pot luck in the middle of our meeting today. Fortunately, my bosses admin took care of the potluck part but we all had to run out last night and get out white elephants. I feel like there will be s lot of cheap booze in this gift bags.

today will be busy but we are leaving for a smaller team dinner a bit earlier so we can be st the beach for sunset so I can't complain.

qotd - nope.

menu

coffee but no half and half

ratio yogurt

Chomps bar and almonds before the potluck so I can avoid the potluck food

chicken mole

this place is known for their margaritas, so I have scoped out one tequila, blackberries and ginger beer but I'll ask them to swap the ginger bear for seltzer or keep it light

have a great mid week everyone!

Sunset at the beach sounds great! Lottery tickets are always a fun exchange gift. Luck of the draw, so to speak! Good luck with your day!

Wouldn't you be sad (jealous) if you gave a lottery ticket away that had a big payout? I always think that when people give lottery tickets. However, the odds are in your favor that it won't happen :-)

I bought a $1000 winner for an Anniversary gift for DH one time, and he did not give me a dime. I still throw it at him at times.

Hasn't happened but I'd hope it's a freely given scenario. :) yay to that person!

I think it's negative to think that way. If I give a gift it's just given, I try not to have strings.

Of course the lottery ticket is given away freely as a gift without strings attached. I think a lot of people would be "dang, wish I kept that one!"

Sounds like you have a very cohesive work team. It is great you get to do all these team building activities. Enjoy the sunset and margaritas.
