You can't go wrong with a Nutter Butter. I have only had the old school kind that look like a cookie peanut.

These were actually released first. They are the better of the 2 but l been known to make a pie crust out of the ones shaped like peanuts for my peanut butter pies

QOTD- TJ's triple ginger snaps, shortbread cookies in the tin, double stuff oreos.

I had my fabric and pattern laid out on my cutting table so I could cut it and sew it, and then came the kittens. So I need to start over. I shouldn't have left it, but I really didn't expect the kittens to get up on the table... I really didn't get anything done this weekend. I was planning to go to a movie, but didn't make it either.

My roommate is still sick, he sounds like he is hacking up a lung. It is probably pneumonia but with no insurance, he's not willing to go to the doctor. He already has a ton of medical bills from his last hospitalization, but I still think he should go in. I think I'm trying to fight off a cold as well, it hasn't really taken hold, so I'm hopeful that I can avoid it. Right now it's just congestion and phlegm.

Not sure what is going on, there are a ton of Canadian geese flying around, it looks like they were circling not sure why. I love seeing them and hearing them fly over. It's one of the things that I missed in Maui.

I need to get back to work, but I'm having trouble focusing.

Have a great day everyone!

Legend has it that if you don't want a cat to get something, it must be securely locked in a closet, far from the light of day. I assume this is true because I read it on Reddit. :)

Hope you're both feeling better soon. No urgent care clinics or walmart health centers around you with flat rate charges?

I hope you and your roommate feel better soon. Maybe he should try urgent care or see his cop as a walk in. RSV is really going around right now.

G'morning all!
Post and run kind of day, when I saw the QOTD had to post.
QoTD: I love ALL cookies, they were the reason of my needing WLS, in addition to ice cream. I like the ones who have caramel, cinnamon or ginger flavors. Hence: biscoff, stroopwaffle (when you warm it up on your mug of tea), and the whole line of Mulino Bianco that I grew up on. Their pan di stelle was my orio growing up, dunk in caffe latte was my morning breakfast for YEARS!!!

Have a great day everybody!

I just looked up that line of cookies. I would not have been able to choose just one flavor!

Any Italian household had at least two or there different flavors on hand at all times, to be used for breakfast or mid afternoon snack.

Morning!

I'm real late to the party today, but I've accomplished some chores this morning and feel good about that.

I'm not in a great mind state right now, tis the season for me, and last night we went to a concert I was so excited about and found out on the way there it was supposed to be all holiday music. And I let that put me in a funk that spiraled into essentially drinking my dinner and evening away. This is a hard time for me, but I've got to figure out a way to make it through without drinking my way through it. I keep trying to take deep breaths and remember that I know from experience it will be better after January 5. I'm also trying to keep up my work outs and add lots of yoga and taking time to make daily affirmations that I can chant to myself through the day.

Yesterday was far from all bad, and I did have great fun with my grand kids taking the one flying and then family lunch after. Pictures on Friday of my little flyer. As expected, she was a natural. It's all about core strength, and as a gymnast, she's got that nailed.

Ok today -- rainy and cold. Which I love. My HIIT class got cancelled this morning so I have to find a version on Youtube I can do today and I want to also completely gut and clean out the fridge to get ready for the onslaught of food I'm going to need for next two weeks to take care of my Dad and visitors. Exciting day and I bet you all are envious.

QoTD: I'm with Chrissy. Store bought is Nutter Butter's, but the one's in peanut shapes. But a great homemade chewy Oatmeal Raisin cookie is my all time fave.

Menu:

B: Finally, the last of the crack chicken and cottage cheese

L: leftover Shepard's Pie

D: Making Rog beef cheese steak sandwiches and I'll eat the insides. And a few Tater Tots.

Peace Everybody!

I don't have any words of wisdom for dealing with grief and loss at this time of year but I hope you find something that works. Be kind to yourself too while you are trying to knuckle through it.
