Good morning, everybody!

Things are a little crazy in our house this morning. I did my normal wake up at 3:30 to go to the bathroom/can't get back to sleep/Go downstairs and read thing. But then my youngest is awake at 5:00 AM cooking mozzarella sticks because he has been up all night in the Metaverse.

Well that commotion and/or FOMO caused Marilyn to wake up and come downstairs, just as I am ready to go back to sleep on the couch. I fell back to sleep and the cleaning lady comes, so she is flitting about doing her thing. And then at 7:00 AM, my older son starts texting Marilyn about picking his classes for next semester (the thing that he didn't want to do with us over Thanksgiving break because "its in the future"). Also, its finals for my older son so I'm not sure why he is doing class selection right now at 6:00 Colorado time.

Maybe I will take my youngest out to get breakfast if he is not full from the mozzarella sticks.

We did 200 walking lunge steps on Saturday, so I have a mild case case of Lunger's Butt. Nothing terrible but every now and then I will put my had in my back pocket and think "what's that tenderness?"

Finally, we are watching the snowstorm because Marilyn and my son are supposed to drive his truck from Denver to Chicago starting Wednesday. They may have to go south on I-70 through Kansas City.

QOTD: I classify Cliff Bars as cookies because whatever protein benefits they have are incidental to the fact that they are basically a dessert. So I am going to say Cool Mint Cliff Bar

Breakfast:Egg sandwich

Lunch:Turkey

Dinner: Hello Fresh

Have a great day, all!

I think that they went straight from the freezer to a cookie sheet in the oven.

My son's breakfast of the champions is the cool mint cliff bar (his absolute favorite flavor in the cliff bar category) and a Yerba mate.

Good morning ~ Congrats on your school freedom - enjoy your well deserved break! Yesterday was lovely and restoring - relaxing, productive and warm fuzzy family time. Now the work begins. I have a ton going on at work and then this f*** class - what was I thinking? Stress dreams all night long and it took forever to fall asleep. I will give it until Wed (last day to drop). I should know by then if I will realistically be able to keep up. My throat is feeling so much better. That lump feeling is gone so I don't feel everything moving through like before. I have my mammogram this morning, I need to drop off some returns, work then school.

QOTD - Gingersnaps - TJ's has a couple I like - triple ginger or the gluten free or good ole Nabisco. I love spice. Newman's used to have ginger hermits and a ginger sandwich cookie I loved, but they don't make them anymore. Sad Amy.

Yesterday:

b- coffee, L- chili, d - meatballs, marinara and parm, side salad s- tomatoes, cheese

Today:

b- coffee x 2, my egg bites

L - tuna, salad, tomato, mayo and rwv

D - the last of the chili

Have a great day!
