Good morning everyone! Hope your weekend is going well and Sunday brings you the rest, restoration and whatever else you need before we head into another week.

It's bizarre that the 10 day forecast now includes Christmas. December is speeding by. Today and tomorrow we'll have highs in the 50s and then through christmas it's all highs of the low 30s. Doesn't look like a white christmas though!

Yesterday was good, I got all my "have tos" done; I took a break to see Violent Night (it was exactly as expected, but a bit gorier, I think it will end up being the same type of cult classic as Bad Santa); and the holiday party was great. Good catching up with people and met a few fun new people.

I'm not feeling great today but I've had my two coffees and now I'm switching to a licorice tea; I did my workout, 20 minute boxing and 30 minutes pilates. Sometimes that helps me feel better but it didn't today so I'm going to jump in the shower, put on some day time pajamas and relax for the rest of the day. I do need to pack for my work trip later this week though.

QOTD -- do you see the color or read the word when you're looking at the name of a color? For example RED, GREEN, YELLOW. I read the color words. Just one more proof of what I've always known, I'm not a visual person.

Sounds like you were productive yesterday. We are having a white Christmas. We have had more snow than usual and colder. It is usually not so cold or snowy at this time of the year. It is usually in the 40s.

today I have my inferno pilates, followed by a facial. Then a massage at the end of the day. I will try to do meal prep also in between. It will be a short week since we go to Las Vegas on Thursday for a bodybuilding contest (watching).

QOTD: I see the font color vs what is written. I use to play a game where you had to seperate the font codor the written color. It was a brain training game.

This is what I use. It is mostly nuts with some dried blueberries. I get it at Costco but I think they have it at Walmart.

Good morning ~ What a cute meme! I hope you feel better and that a day in pajamas is just the ticket. Yesterday was nice, it rained hard all day - it was lovely being home (in my pajamas!) with a fire going. I have all the things set to go for Monday personally, work and school to the extent possible. We watched a Christmas Story Christmas last night. It was fun and cheesy. Today will be much of the same with the kiddo coming over for dinner and we'll watch Elf tonight.

QOTD - Your colored text threw me! I'm very visual and usually see the color but had a hard time reconciling this in my head, lol

My throat is better this morning - the lump is subsiding

Yesterday: I grazed alllllllll day - I never do that. I'm a 3 squares girl.

Today will be normal as ^ didn't feel good :

b- coffee, eggs w/salsa

l - chili

d- meatballs w/marinara, parm and salad

s- cheese as much as needed to kill any cravings

e - if cleaning the house counts - then that.

Good morning! Waiting for the rain to start here and accompany me along my busy day. Lots of fun today and it's going to fly by.

Yesterday I attended THREE holiday events. I ate banquet chicken at the lunch one and had water. I ate nothing at the second one and had water. I ate two HUGE Lumpia's and a tiny bit of a taco casserole at the third one and had water. But then I am sitting there, freezing, outdoors, with a group of people I don't really know at a potluck dinner and listening to the band and I start craving, and I mean craving, sweets. So I wander over to the table and select three options. Bring them back to Rog to share. You cannot believe how terrible each of those treats were. I would never serve them at home, let alone take them to a party!! I was dying laughing after one tiny bite of each and discreetly disposed of them. Saved a million calories for sure. I also forced myself to get my 30 + minutes of intentional exercise completed between party two and three.

Today is Ifly with the oldest grand and then family lunch at PF Changs. Then home for a short bit and off to dinner at an old school prime rib place followed by seeing Harry Connick Jr. Super stoked about today. Especially since I had a great night's sleep and the sweetest, most fun dreams. Woke up pretty much on top of the world this morning. I did a quick yoga work out/ stretch this morning and need to get another 17 minutes in of a work out in between lunch and dinner today. I'll be 7 for 7 if I can make that happen and that's going to be a new record for me.

Food is going to be a challenge today -- another reason I am happy I made myself move yesterday.

QoTD: Apparently, I see in color. I was flummoxed by RED, GREEN, YELLOW. I'm not surprised. I think it fits with my "glass half full" personality.
