Dammit! I planned everything out to so that I would be ahead with school work so that I could remain in a cookie panic this week and not have to worry about school, when BAM -- a new 7 page paper about starting a global business in China drops into my lap--due in a week! I cannot even begin to explain how I do not have time for this. I was already panicking about needing more hours and now I am flat out hyperventilating. Plus today I am delivering the 9 dozen cookies an hour a half away (up in Salem, MA), each way--and the return trip will be right through the city at rush hour, so I basically lose a full hall day just driving today. Did I charge enough for delivery? Absolutely not. So many lessons to learn in small business land. Also HOW IS IT DECEMBER 8th already? I don't have one Christmas gift bought, let alone wrapped or cards written... I am usually done with everything in like July. What is happening to meeeeeee??? I hate it here.

Photo QOTD: Only 3 can stay. Let's fight.

Miracle on 34th St. Elf and.... sort of a statistical ties between Charlie Brown and Christmas Story, but I think Christmas Story wins by a hair!

B: Egg Bites

L: Veggie Burger

D: ?? probably going out somewhere in Salem after the cookie delivery to try to wait out traffic

Good morning QJB and menuers!

You have a full schedule, JB! How can they drop an extra paper on you? As if there's not already enough to do. Good luck with driving today, and getting time sorted. This month is flying!

Best wishes to those with procedures or surgery today or tomorrow. Really hoping everything goes well!

Well, I drew the short straw yesterday and was the first presenter, so I spent every second until then refining my talking points. I got great questions and engagement from the group, and approval to keep moving on both projects. This is a weight off my shoulders since it will tie up through the whole month of January getting the rest of the work done.

Today is a half day team off site, a consultation with the oral surgeon about wisdom tooth extraction, and a couple more meetings. I can almost taste the weekend!

Yesterday's QOTD- Nope. I spent enough time with lawyers and in courts for work. Don't want to give anyone control of my life like that.

QOTD- Keep it's a wonderful life, Rudolph, and Xmas story.

Accountability- great! A little late for IF but not bad.

Exercise- Recumbent bike!

Menu

Triple zero salted caramel yogurt

Chomp stick

Catered Greek food for lunch, so should be a plate of chicken, a bit of salad, and sauce

Crustless quiche slice. They're catering breakfast and snacks too but that always ends up being fruit, pastries, bagels and things I can't eat. :)

Cheers!

Good morning! Happy Thursday everyone!

QJB, I hope the chaos settles down for you -- are you at the halfway point of this section? Do you get the week between christmas and new years as a break?

QOTD - I'm not really a christmas movie fan. The only 3 I've seen more than once on that list are Die Hard, Rudolph and Charlie Brown's Christmas so I'll keep those three. I probably won't have time to see it while it's in the theaters but I do plan on seeing Violent Night when it streams - it looks like Die Hard meets The Santa Claus.

The did about 80% of the hardscape on my yard yesterday, should finish today so after work I can put out the exterior christmas decorations! I will be looking forward to the planting aspect this spring to give the full effect of the changes!

Amy, I am feeling your pain with setting up the Vault, I could not get the reformer to connect to my wi-fi last night and I gave up after an hour, I will try again today.

Exercise today will be a reformer workout and a weights workout, maybe a round of boxing depending on how my afternoon meeting goes.

menu today

coffee plus half and half

tbd on breakfast

either cheese and triscuits or more chicken and naan

Have a great Jr. Friday everyone!

Actually would you believe that tomorrow starts the last week in this semester? I can't believe how quickly the last 6 weeks went. And I have a full month off between December 15 - January 15! Since I am not anticipating many cookie orders in January, I should have the whole month off for real. Anyone want to celebrate Christmas, then? I should have time :)

That is wonderful. I can't believe the time went by this quickly.
