Good morning! Productive morning for me so far, and a self indulgent productive day ahead.

Jim -- My tum was really not on board with life yesterday and we stayed very quiet at home with a fancy crack chicken "pot pie" for dinner that the crust failed miserably on. But it's ok! We have tickets to Harry Connick Jr on Sunday, and that was our gift to each other anyways. So I am staying the plain and easy course until Sunday and hope to enjoy a nice dinner and a great glass of wine with Rog then.

After I got home from my class yesterday morning, I just puttered around the house getting the guest room back together for who ever is coming next. Any takers? And I spent time watching From Scratch and Dead to Me. Also popped out for some wrapping stuff for the girls and I bought me the 1" thick workout pad from Target. (Thanks, Jen!!)

Today I've got a breakfast quiche in the oven and as soon as it comes out I plan to get my 2.5 mile loop in and then come back and do a strenuous yoga video followed by the low back and hip stretch one. I am also hoping to get in a few basic moves with my new resistance bands. I had to buy a new set as my old set had no resistance to them. I don't think they age well. If all this comes together, I'll have about 2 hours of intentional movement strung together. And I am weirdly looking forward to that. No other plans on my agenda for the day.

QoTD: I can't see us being the only beings to evolve.

Menu:

B: inside of quiche slice

L: last of the roasted chicken from last week

D: hamburger patty with slice of cheese, no bun, and a few air fried french fries.

Peace Everybody!

After getting that one, I questioned why I ever got the thinner ones! (Portability probably but I really don't take my yoga mat places)

Hello Tuesday and Menu Friends,

I had a nice quiet birthday weekend. We celebrated on Saturday with dinner out, axe throwing (I won all 3 games!), presents, and cake. We didn't get out to see the eagles. Maybe this weekend if we have time. Monday was spent getting ready for the week with meal prepping, etc. My weight has been hovering between 134-136 despite my no excuse November plan and consistency on meals. Since I have been eating the same thing, same calories I think I need to mix things up a bit, so I will try that since I would rather be closer to 130. We will see how that goes. I do notice some muscle development but not 5-6 lbs worth so quickly.

QOTD: Yes, on aliens or other life forms in other galaxies.

Accountability: Spot on

B: triple zero greek yogurt with keto granola, berries, cold brew with half n half

L: Asian chicken salad with light sesame ginger dressing

S: protein frosty

D: weigh****chers version shepherd's pie

S: 4 squares sf chocolate, 100 cal bag popcorn

E: 60 min hot yoga

Have a great taco Tuesday!

Glad you had a good weekend and won all of the axe throwing games. That's becoming a super popular thing to do!

Curious what you're going to change up in your menu/routine to get your metabolism going! Hope it works for you.

I am just changing up the meals a little bit and flexing the calories up and down. Nothing too extreme.

Trying to get everything done at work before surgery tomorrow and I saw the QOTD and just had to answer it. :)

QOTD: YES 100% aliens exist. The stuff my husband and I have seen over the years can't be explained as anything other than aliens. The last few years the skies over us have been very active and on Sept. 11th this year we saw things that blew our minds. Big bright white orbs in the sky. Then there was the line of 4 orbs in a row that looked like they were coming out of something and then going into something. That lasted 15 minutes. Oh and if anyone looks up UFO activity around the world you will see a lot of stuff near nuclear places, military bases, and the Artic is partly whited out on Google Earth.

I'm fasting today so just some coffee and water.
