Ugh, your post reminded me that I have two dentist appts today, one for my Invisalign and one for a cleaning...they are on my calendar but I was in denial, lol.

Two in one day, that's impressive! Is the Invisalign worth it in your opinion? Kinda hoping I'm a candidate. This is a new dentist so all the hoopla of being a new patient. Good times!

I think so! I have always had straight teeth but after an implant they started shifting and it seems like the Invisalign is helping that. Mine isn't an extreme case though, only expected to be 20 trays. My sister had something like 65

I looked into Invisalign and was shocked at the price ($4500 I think was the quote). I had braces in high school. When they were removed, I had permanent metal retainers placed on the front 4 top teeth and bottom 6 front teeth. I still have them but on the top the metal retainer wore through so 2 of the front top teeth are no longer retained. I have seen a gap develop between these teeth. That is why I looked into the Invisalign. I am opting for a new plastic retainer to use at night to keep the teeth from any further movement for $240.

They are pretty similar to braces, but more convenient for me than braces. Good for you for finding an option you preferred better.

That's good to know! Based on how the dentist reacted today, I have the feeling my case is more extreme. Ha.

Ooh, don't think I've seen the OH one...it sounds good. So, nope! And it looks like I didn't favorite the ones I used. Hmm. I have a huge list of them for future food prep. Will have to look up the OH one, though! Thanks.

G'morning all!
QJB, I hope your day is productive and you can catch your breath. I had a couple of years working like that and it wasn't fun. My measure of success was that by the end of the day I had not died of a heart attack. But the headaches were off the charts, I even had to go to a specialist thinking I might have a tumor. Nope, they were only stress induced.
In exciting news, if all goes to plan and nothing gets changed or postponed, I'll have pictures on Fri of our new entertainment center. It's a custom made piece that has been in the works since Aug. Was supposed to be ready before thanksgiving but you know how these things work.
QOTD: sure believe in them, and that they are out there. But in this big wide world somehow I don't think they are that interested in earth and visit as often as people claim, and somehow they always visit the US.
My meals yesterday:
- Coffee
- TJ kebabs w/Fage yogurt dip
- Jello, iced coffee w/PP
- Scrambled eggs & cheese
- E: cardio + weight
Happy taco Tue!
