What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu?

Thanks! Also looked up Yuren mats. Looks like they have some good options. I'm learning that several of the menuers have some great exercise setups!

For no longer being obese. I remember the transition from obese to overweight and it was so exhilarating. Great job!

Yes! You've hit so many major milestones, I'm sure!.
I'd been a half pound away since November 12th. Patience and persistence!

when I get really skinny - i need to use 2 or 3 mats. Some are thin but have great grips, and the thicker ones are perfect for that. Using blocks, bolsters - is also important. And dont skip on a blanket - a good blanket for the end of the yoga helps keep the body comfortable.

Thank you for sharing! I hadn't heard of yoga blankets before. Looks helpful since one of my drawbacks to being skinny is constant cold.

Whoohoo on your weight! Yippee! GreaT effort.
Regarding the exercise mat, I would opt for a thicker mat as you already have sensitivity. As you get thinner you will notice you tailbone and spine on the hard surface more. I know I do. Even with the mats on the floor that the studio has plus my yoga mat I notice the pressure on bony prominence. I use a yoga towel to help prevent slipping in the mat, especially with sweating that will accumulate on your mat. Here is the one I like that stays in place really well.

Thank you. :)
And now I know about sticky yoga towels! Thank you. It also looks like this might be a bit of a stand in for the grippy gloves and socks.
With everyone's feedback, I'm zeroing in on one of the two-inch mats since it's unlikely there's a studio in my future anytime soon and if I'm not comfortable, I won't get it done. I think that between the blanket, towel, and mat, that's a good start for this. Pilates and some of the non-inversion yoga videos I've found are on my short-term goals list. Onward!

Good mornin everyone!
so the **** hit the proverbial fan yesterday for my aunt and her daughter. My aunt is moving out asap. Her and my mom are going to go look for an apartment today. My cousin is being a really big witch. Told my aunt that she lost everything when her dad died. Like no. My aunt lost everything...and was bullied into the whole damned thing by my narcissistic cousin. My cousin told her they were going to find another house in January. So my aunt is beating them to the punch. We knew this would happen and warned her but I guess people have to learn on their own.
I've gotten a flurry of possible orders and I'm excited! I'm such a nerd but I love making things for people. I'll likely be working on Christmas presents today and hopefully order some supplies. Due to my SIL not paying on the house my mom had to borrow a little bit of money from me.
QOTD: non-fiction. I really want to write a book about my grandpa's experiences. I just don't have the resources to do the research. I'm so proud of him and his perseverance. I also just love history so much!
B: JUST egg bowl, banana and coffee
L: I may be going out to eat with my aunt and mom
D: lentils with smoked turkey
S: ????
Oldies but goodies.
