We may get a retort from Lady Godiva to stop using all of their animal mats. During COVID, Tractor Supply was completely sold out because everyone was using them for home fitness.

We have horse mats under our weight equipment but I don't find them very soft overall.

Thank you for the feedback! I had an inkling but part of me was assuming the super thin mats were popular for a reason other than aesthetics. :)

You know, that thought came to mind when you mentioned it. I grew up working at a small dairy farm decades ago. No stall mats for the pasture horse and stanchions for the indoor cows. And my rustic pole barn (It's kind to even call it that) currently out back is lucky just to have metal walls for the poor horse that lived here to be able to get out of the weather. Kind of. All of that to say...doesn't seem like I've been exposed to the best farm animal care practices in my lifetime. I've known pasture horses and cows, really. Even the place I like to volunteer has super simple setups for their barnyard animals. And people keep telling me to start bringing some home...
Your setup looks great, so long as you don't hit plywood! And I spy some kettle bells in the back!
Now feel like I need to go start random conversations at my local TSC to get schooled.
