Tons of crackers! When I don't feel well all I want is soup and crackers.

Mornin' All!
another vet appt this morning for a cat. Mostly just a routine exam, but he's old (almost 18!) and has a couple of issues I'll run by her. He has IBD (has had it for years) and kidney disease (both very common in older cats) - he vomited last night, so I'll let her know. They're not concerned about it happening once or twice a month, but more than that, yes. I don't think it's been more than that for awhile, though. Not since we bumped up his prednisone a few months ago. Hopefully his values (blood and urine) will all be stable. I always dread end-of-life declines...
I'm supposed to have my in person class this afternoon, but the prof decided to do it online since he said he knows most of us are exhausted and need a bit of a break. I kind of wonder if maybe HE needs a bit of a break - or is out of town or something so he has to do it online. Either way, that's fine - I actually like online classes, plus it's really cold out. I'd rather not go out unless I have to. I was actually glad to hear that class will be online today.
QOTD: my legal name is Patricia, which was a popular name in mid-20th century. No one names their kid that anymore - so it was definitely a "trend" name. It's funny that you can often guess how old someone is by their first name. When I was in school, we always had about four Debbies in class. Plus there were always one or two Tammys, Susans, Sandys, Donnas, Lisas, Barbaras - most people with those names are now middle aged or older...
B: skyr with fruit compote, coffee with half & half
MS: protein shake
L: chocolate "mousse" with raspberries
AS: protein muffin
D: either matzo ball soup or a salad with chicken and light dressing
(I'm beginning to sound like a skipping record - but I really like all these things, and I have them on hand!)
have a great day, everyone!

One of my grandmothers is Margaret or Marg. Was also a trend name in that era. Always interesting to see those lists of popular names by decade, though not sure I'd want to see more recent ones!
