What's on your Thursday Menu?
Good morning ~ That sweet little avocado doesn't stand a chance against big bad bacon! They are so good together though. Yesterday was uneventful, yay! In hind sight, I could have gone to work although I did work from home a few hours - but who knew considering the events the day before and I was very tired. I was able to finish The Watcher and start Wednesday - love her! I'm listening to several books, nothing I'm totally loving... I have to renew the Paris Apartment at the half way point and there is a 2 week+/- wait. I was hoping for a few quick/easy reads before committing to another 30 hour Steven King I have waiting or attempting A Gentleman in Moscow for the 5th time. I really want to listen to this one but my mind always starts wandering and I'm rewinding over and over. I know I would love it, not sure why I'm blocked. For work I was able to move the monthly project due in Nov to Dec so I will have to double up and that will be quite a task but I will have more time this month to get it done. I may get a mani after work -holiday red! Tomorrow I'm off work. We are hitting the road to Robs work Christmas party at a winery in Sonoma and staying the night. I'm looking forward to this, the menu sounds FAB!
QOTD - Yes! I'm named after my great grandmother - Mamie. My parents didn't want anyone calling me Flamin' Mame, even though no one even knows who that is anymore so it was changed to Amy. My middle name is my grandmothers - Elizabeth. If I were a boy I would have been Carl after my grandfather. Mamie will be my 'grammy' name if ever...
