QJB-I just landed on Wednesday last night and really like it so far. I am only through one episode. DS wants to watch with me so that will slow down the watching time since he goes to his room to play video games at 8:30pm. Do you have any other recommendations? I just finished Inside Man, great psychological thriller. Nice twist at the end. I hope they continue the series.

Today we have a winter weather warning with potential for 2 feet of snow today. I decided to work from home so not to have to navigate in the poor road conditions. The kids get a snow day (no school due to poor road conditions d/t snow) today, which they were happy about. I did have to take my car in to have a tire leak fixed. Had to wait for an hour but got it done.

QOTD: There is a neighborhood close by that decorate their front yards. One house has a 50+ foot tree that must have a million lights on it. It is very pretty.

Accountability: excellent

I'm glad you like Wednesday, too! It is so great. No other recommendations--I am spending a lot more time listening to podcasts and audio books while I decorate cookies than watching tv. I think this is the first show I have seen since I finished The Watcher a few weeks ago! But if you are a podcast listener, I can give you a million good ones :)

the podcast Casefile covered the original story The Watcher was based on. It's case 177. It creeped me out enough that I had no interest in The Watcher fictional version. It's very good overall.

the lady vanishes, Bone Valley, and pseudocide (the last one is only on Spotify) are very good.

Agree with Jen's recommendations. Bone Valley is truly spectacular reporting. I will also throw in:

  • Decoder Ring
  • Crimes of the Centuries
  • Sold a Story
  • Normal Gossip
  • The Letter
  • Spectacle (I like season 1 better then 2)

Two feet of snow? Hope you get the lower end of any predictions.
