Good morning everyone. It's a bit gloomy here, but already 50, so I am heading out to get my walk in next. No rest Wednesday for me, as Monday was a complete loss in exercise due to travel and family. I'm ready to get out and get it done.

I was 100% on plan yesterday and had no wine. I had to drive my oldest to the airport yesterday morning and he was flying out of Tijuana. So of course I used my navigation system to get to the airport and didn't realize it was taking me to the Tijuana side until it was too late and I was forced to cross the border. Problem #1, that vehicle is not insured in Mexico. Instantly sweating. Problem #2, Ryan was scheduled to check in on the USA side and cross over. Then he was sweating. We navigated the approximately 5 miles over to the TJ airport and wished each other luck. He got in and cleared in minutes and was in the Amex club before I made it back to the customs crossing. Saying a huge prayer and a thank you to Roger for making me not only get a global entry card last year, but also he made me register my car with customs, I got in the sentry lane and was back in the USA in less then 20 minutes. The regular line was close to three hours long. I don't think I really took a breath until I crossed over. Any little fender bender could have actually put me in jail in Mexico because the car was not insured for Mexico. I felt a little traumatized all day. When I made it home, I had missed my yoga class, so I did a HARD video from Youtube. A little sore today, but proud of adulting.

Today I am walking and then need to run to do a few chores. My oldest grandkid picked a present that Target near me actually has in stock. I'm going to nail that down. Then I just need one or two small things for her and that kid is done. I bought both girls outfits and fun tennies yesterday. Oh, I I think I have to go to Costco for gas and for chicken.

Question for you cold weather people! I need a beanie or a hat for my early Monday class. I have a peanut head and everything I can find is either too thick and uncomfortable (fashion statement) too big and either falls over my eyes or off my head, or too loose and does no good. Can someone point me in the right direction? Maybe I need a kid size?

QoTD: No where near us. Our neighborhood seems more likely to try and win an award on House Beautiful with stylish twinkling white lights, magnolia leaves and perfect golden orbs. They are beautiful and I am starting to once again appreciate how pretty they are, but we still do not decorate.

Food. Ok, never bought any yesterday but we had amazing left overs we brought home from Mexico. Today might be:

B: pork cheeks

L: tops of 2 pieces of ricotta and artichoke pizza

D: chicken, sundried tomatoes and goat cheese and roasted baby potatoes.

Peace Everybody!

Look for one that is fleece vs a knit one. They make them smaller profile and not think and uncomfortable. I tend to use that or ear muffs that hook behind my neck.

I did not realize being so close to the border can create that confusion with the airport.

A hooded scarf always works best for me. You can tie the scarf so the hood is not blocking your eyes. And it keeps your ears and neck warm.

I just pull up my hoody on my sweatshirt when I run. My only hats I have are from Shelia and Ron and I would never exercise in those.

I crossed the TJ boarder accidently one time in my friend's car with no owner's card. We all had PA drivers' licenses and traveling in a car registered in CA. Yikes. Someone was looking out for me. I got back over but not without being scared to death. Rog really had your back on that one.
