Happy Wednesday Morning. A rather bleak day here in CT with heavy rain and high winds expected this afternoon, but it is better than snow. Yes I am not a fan of the white crap even though I have lived here my entire life, but that could be because it just sucks having to go out in the cold to take care of animals. This year we did a lot of things differently to make it easier so crossing fingers all the hard work pays off.

JB I have to say you are just killing it with school and the cookie business. I couldn't even think about going back to school for anything. I hope you are proud of yourself for everything you've been doing lately. :)

Yes I've watched Wednesday and I love it. I was a bit skeptical with who they casted for Mortica and Gomez, but both Catherine and Luis. Of course Jenna just nailed Wednesday just as good if not I dare say better than Christina. Have you seen the dance episode yet?

QOTD: People put up decorations, but nothing crazy in my town. Now a town over there is a family that does a nice walkthrough light display and I found out that in East Hartford there is a mile and a half of different Christmas scenes and lights that you drive your car through.

5am coffee with raw milk

B: Scrambled eggs and homemade scrapple

L: Singapore Fun Mei

D: Chicken loaf

My friend is a dairy farmer and say taking care of animals in the winter is way harder than in the summer. Just trying to keep the water from freezing so they do not dehydrate is an issue. Us common folk would have never thought of that as an issue.

That's very sweet -thanks! I go back and forth between feeling proud to suffering from imposter syndrome and thinking I am crazy to try to reinvent myself at 48 years old, haha.

And yes we watched the dance episode last night and looooooooved it!

G'morning all!

QJB - Aaaaw, panda bear. Bears are my favorite animals, especially polar bears. I have a mama + 2 cubs painting in my room. Hope you can get ahead with school and receive tons of cookie orders. I haven't seen the Wed series on Netflix but will add it to my list. I am so behind, just finished the Watcher. I was constantly distracted/in awe by her fashion, instead of paying attention to the crime. Very interesting story. Couldn't stand the realtor friend.

Yesterday we got the tickets for Xmas for the kids. We had heard that the Tue after thanksgiving is the cheapest day to purchase airline tickets and it was true. We'll have the kids home for Xmas but they'll both leave on 30th because we are too old to party with for new Years.

QOTD: there is a house in our town that for Xmas goes all out and literally stops traffic. No music but TONS of lights. I always wonder how much their electric bill is. We always make a point of driving by to see it.

Accountability: the problem with going back to what you were eating before the festivities is that your body wants those yummies you were feeding her during that said festivity. Yesterday I wasn't hungry but that Devil on my shoulder kept saying what about a chocolate, it won't be the end of the world if you have ONE chocolate.

My meals yesterday:

  • Coffee
  • JD turkey links & chicken skewers
  • SF Jello Chocolate pudding cup (to satisfy chocolate craving****d coffee w/PP
  • Left over turkey (I think I'm getting tired of turkey)
  • E: 10K wog

Happy hump day!

I was trying to find a cost-effective flight to Costa Rica for Christmas, but it never happened. I was hoping to get it at least under $500 but it never went lower than $895, and I just refuse to spend that kind of money on a flight. That is more that the cost of the resort for a week. I am so glad you got the deal you were looking for.

The Watcher was so great! So perfectly cast. I was happy that the Realtor got her comeuppance but... not the pup!

The Watcher was really good but I was not happy with the ending. I understand there is another season coming.

Good Morning! I feel like it should be Thursday but I think that's okay since I've got tons to do for payroll prep. Well, my appt yesterday had a different result than I was mentally planning for. Not that I didn't know it was an option, it caught me off guard when my dr said surgery is probably the best option. He said it's an "easy" procedure to shave down the bone. He is trying to get me scheduled for it on Dec 27th (it would be great financially to get it done this year since I've already met my deductible)and I'd be unable to drive for about week and then working my way back to normal. So now just wait and see if insurance has any issues and go from there.

QOTD: There are a few neighborhoods that go all out and you can drive/walk through them. There is also a house that has their lights set to music that you can tune into a radio station to hear.

TSS: 8 years 3 months

B: SF latte, Fiber/protein oatmeal, turkey sausage, and an orange

L: Turkey and cheese sticks, carrots, SF pudding and some fruit

S: Protein puffs, a piece of fruit and yogurt

D: Smoked pork loin, green beans, sliced orange/banana, and 2 squares dark chocolate

ES: Greek yogurt and a chaffle

E: Elliptical

V/W: On track

Totals: Cals:1471 Protein:110 Carbs:134 Fat:55

Have a great one!
