Good morning and happy Wednesday!

We ended up with about 4 inches of snow yesterday so not too bad but cold and cold today too. Although we had my virtual session scheduled my trainer got a migraine (Colorado is not the place to live if you get migraines with extreme barometer changes as we have them so much in the winter); so I did a pilates class from IFit instead. Not as rewarding, lol.

Today is busy at work and then I have a pedicure this evening that I desperately need so that will be good. Other than that, I will get my workout in in a few minutes and get the work day started right after.

QOTD - not that I am aware of but I don't pay attention either so definitely could

I felt a total migraine twinge just reading the words barometer change. Looks like I won't be moving to Colorado ever!

It doesn't affect me but I feel so bad for the people that it does. It can be rough for them for sure!

Way to make it happen even when your trainer canceled.

I went all out on lights one year. I had a fence with led nativity scene, and some areas with Santa and the reindeer. Not crazy like some people, but really pretty. I remember being in shock when I received the electric bill in January and went to the electric company to complain. The bill was legitimate and about $200 back in the days when electricity was about $25 a month.

I had those displays for years but was careful about how long they burned each day and used timers. There was one family who did about an acre of displays and people lined their street every night to see it. They loved Christmas and were willing to pay for all the electricity. Before COVID, I would take an all day bus trip to the Christmas light show at Olgebay Park in West Virginia. It was a great ride through the hills and included a gourmet dinner in a lovely old mansion. There are 300 acres of light displays over a six mile drive.

We go to Olgebay every year. Plan to take the twins if they get a free day on a weekend. It's not as crowded as it used to be. I remember waiting on the hill for at least an hour when I was in my teens.
