I didn't have that stuff because of my RNY they said. I had some other awful stuff that took me out all day.

I thought you were having an upper endoscopy not just an upper GI test? Either way I hope it goes well.

Good morning QJB and menuers,
Oh boy, sounds like a rough day JB. I'm sorry. Better luck today.
So I've been having odd vision problems for the past couple of days. Kind of a pulsing/fading that's hard to nail down. It's also making me blink a lot because I'm trying to clear it. I called the clinic and they blamed vitamin A deficiency. It worries me. They're supposed to call back since I'm taking a supplement for it already.
Working from home today and I slept on the couch covered by a dog last night. It was comforting somehow. I need to manage time better.
QOTD- Yep. I got a couple more Google cameras from cyber Monday. Also got a new toaster oven since I realized that the one on my counter is to be avoided at all costs since it takes a half hour to grill one piece of fish while whirring at me. Oh, and measuring spoons. And a blanket set. And a four in one kitchen thing with a blender, immersion thing, chopper, etc. Guess I'm upgrading a few kitchen things.
Accountability- Good! Ate more than planned but nothing outside of menu.
Menu
Yogurt, more yogurt, baby carrots
Thai chili tuna infusions, seaweed
Protein bar
Fairlife chocolate protein shake
Cheers, everyone!

You've had a couple rounds of bloodwork post op by now, right? What does your trend look like? Hope they get it figured out soon....and maybe don't drive if you can avoid it until then! (Although, given the other people on the road, maybe not seeing is a requirement that I missed in driver's ed, lol).

Yep, two rounds now. My vitamin A was low both times but only a little out of range (compared with the super low K). It didn't change much between the 6 weeks and 3 month numbers. I mentioned that to the nurse. I've been on supplements starting at week 6. She asked to make sure it was their brand supplement, told me to eat more foods rich in A, and that she'd call back.
After driving hundreds of miles Sunday with everyone returning home after the holidays, I agree with you on vision requirements. Not sure I can skip my remaining two office days this week but I might try.
