What's on your Sunday menu?
on 11/27/22 2:54 am - Amarillo, TX
Good mornin everyone, hoping you're having a great weekend.
Nothing much at all planned for the day, which is good. I felt rough yesterday and tired. Not feeling exactly great right now either. My ears have been squealing a bit. Ugh!
QOTD: What are you looking forward to this week?
Without a doubt the hope of getting my pain pump installation scheduled after tomorrows appointment.
B: JUST egg bowl and coffee
L: turkey pot pie
D: probably a slice of pizza
S: ????

I hope tomorrow's appointment goes well for you! I have a hair appt this morning, trim and much needed color and I'm looking forward to that; and then I just need to fold and put away all the clothes I washed yesterday.
QOTD - I have a very busy week, something every day plus work, of course! I have my last concert of the year this week so I'll pick that.
After not having been on the rower for a week, I re-started with an intervals program that challenged you to get 1,000M in each 4 minute burst, happy to say I met or exceed that in each one but also that I considered dying during each interval. Today I'll just do a boxing session, keep it lower key.
The sensory deprivation chamber was ok; a unique experience, but I wouldn't do it again. It's pretty boring, I ended up doing my full stretching series, some pilates mat work while floating, which made it more entertaining but as soon as it was over, I was up and out of there. I did love the floating part though, but 20 minutes would have been plenty.
menu today
coffee plus half and half X 3
breakfast sausage links
maybe the potato pancakes, although my hair appt is earlier than I thought so I don't know if I want to cook before hand
chicken breast
Have a spectacular Sunday, everyone.

Jen,
My husband loves our rower. He faithfully does it every morning. Its such a great workout. I need to get into a better routine with it.

I really like it and although the motion is always the same, there are so many different patterns you can do - go for speed, go for distance, go for length, it's fun!

Good morning and happy Sunday. It's raining today in the PNW. They are forecasting snow this week for us. I'm going to head into work today and decorate for Christmas.
Melody, I hope all goes well tomorrow and you get a solid plan for moving forward.
QOTD- I'm looking forward to getting this colonoscopy over with tomorrow. I am also getting a massage Thursday after work. I really like my massage therapist, but she always has an excuse and needs to reschedule me.
Food for today-
Just liquids
Have a great day everyone.
Mornin' All!
I was hoping to get out today since I didn't get out yesterday (I accidentally put the wrong ointment in my cat's eye and had to flush his eye out with saline solution a couple of times - I stuck around all day in case anything happened, but it didn't - the eye looks fine). I'm bummed because it was in the 50s yesterday and sunny, whereas it looks like it might rain today. Boo. But I'll try to get out of the house for awhile regardless, even if it's not outside. I'm also going to make matzo balls today, I think. I made turkey stock yesterday, and I have some leftover matzo meal that I'd like to use up - so...ta da!
QOTD: this will be kind of a busy week. Both book groups and both film groups are meeting this week, which is a first. It's because of one being rescheduled from last week due to Thanksgiving, and another being rescheduled from NEXT week because a couple of people will be out of town. So...four this week. But I'm ready. I also have a massage scheduled. I'm looking forward to all of these things, but maybe the massage the most.
B: plain skyr with cherry/cranberry compote, coffee with half & half
MS: protein shake
L: salad with shredded chicken breast and light dressing
AS: protein muffin or frozen yogurt bark (or maybe a Ratio yogurt)
D: matzo ball soup
have a great day, everyone!

Good morning ~ Happy Sunday! Yesterday was nice - we went on a tiny hike on a sunny trail that was beautiful. We'll be doing that loop w/the dogs on repeat. We've watched our top favorite Christmas movies already this weekend - Miracle on 34th, Christmas in Connecticut and White Christmas. Looking forward to many more. Today is finishing the Christmas decorations and some shopping with the kiddo. I'm over the leftovers, not the turkey but the rest - totally. I'm looking forward to this week at work - on and off dreams about things I'm trying to solve or make better. I have a lot to do and hope to be in a good place by weeks end - which I just realized is Thursday. I'm off Friday for Rob's work Christmas party up north. Okay - I got this.
QOTD - I'm looking forward Robs Christmas party. Now if I could just figure out the perfect outfit!
Yesterday:

l - 1/2 turkey sandwich and 5 Lays folded potato chips
d - 1/2 turkey sandwich and 5 Lays folded potato chips
s - mug of mashed potatoes w/gravy
w - 0
e - mini dog hike
Have a wonderful Sunday-Fun day!

Haha, no - they are my favorite ones (folded in half during the fry as opposed to flat round and perfect) in the regular bag. Not sure why I wrote that - it makes me looks crazy.
