Magnolia looks busy. Was it worth seeing do you think? The food does look delish. What are those round balls?

It was worth seeing, but we were in Waco for the game anyways. I think you would have to be a really big fan to go just for silos.

Who doesn't love a good silo? Oh wait, it's just me? Used to climb them as a kid and legitimately took pictures of several in the last couple of months. :) still wouldn't make a special trip for it, though.

My mother would agree with you. Being a concerned parent never goes away according to her, and I'm willing to do a fair few things for her peace of mind. If your kiddos don't appreciate it yet, they may in a few more years.

The two worse parking lots for me are the clinic where I get bloodwork and the eye doctor. Too many old people who don't see that well. It is strange being the age now that I always considered old people. The cameras on the car that warn when something is too close are what saves my car from being a dented up mess. I am looking forward to truly self-driving vehicles someday. In my case it may end up being Lyft and Uber and no longer having a car of my own.

Good mornin everyone.

so far the only thing I have planned today is to pick up my prescription. It's not supposed to get above freezing today so I wish I could just stay home! We may go to my aunts house but most likely we'll do that tomorrow. We may even wait for the prescription until tomorrow morning.

Feeling rather exhausted and just worn out.

QOTD: hmmm some things coming up are scaring me. I have to talk to my case manager about leaving the clinic and see about getting on with a new psychiatrist. This kind of stuff is super hard for me! Physically it was when I had my pain pump trial and got a huge headache. They were able to quell it with meds and fluids but I thought I'd be stuck with another spinal headache! I also felt the shots from the injections.

B: JUST egg bowl & coffee

Good morning everyone!! We made it to Friday!

I think you look great QJB but I know it's more about how you feel about it than how anyone else does. You are an amazing person, funny, smart, caring and weight doesn't change any of that!

I woke up earlier than planned, like my alarm just went off as I started this post, lol. With my extra time, I watched the GBBO finale, I shoveled my driveway and walk (only about 4 inches of snow); I did a hard and sweaty strength training called "all HIIT no quit" and I considered quitting, and I've loaded up my car to start my drive this afternoon. I'm only going 5 hours vs the full 10 -- we have dinner reservations at a farm to table place early on Saturday so I want to get there early and relaxed so although I usually do the drive in one day, I'm doing it in 2. After I finish this and my cup of coffee, I will have to get in the shower and get the work day started.

QOTD - I have to say that being on the runway with 15 or so other planes in the microburst a few weeks ago was a bit interesting. I mean feeling your plane rock extremely while seeing the others do the same and thinking "hmm, I really how we don't take off right now" even though it was my 3rd flight delay/cancellation was definitely a bit adrenalizing, lol.

menu today

lots of coffee with half and half

English muffin with pb or with poached egg

protein bar

probably something a brewpub near my hotel - bunless burger or something like that.

My pictures are from my day in Memphis last week -- a combo of pictures from the National Civil Rights Museum and a few from Graceland.

Have a fantastic Friday everyone!
