Agree! Pretty rusty driving in all the slush and non-snow stuff.

Funny this time of year I count the dead dear on my 40-mile round trip from work. Right now, there are 9 laying on the sides of the road that no one has picked up and 2 of them someone decided to cut their heads off. They must have had nice racks.

Tis the season. It is always like this when they are in rut.

Wait, are you me? That was on the way to work yesterday. But seriously...same thing. It's just a much sadder count for me. And um. No missing heads. Wouldn't be surprised to see that around here, though.

Drive careful. Hopefully the county/city/state maintain your roads, so it isn't so treacherous of a drive.

You have come a long way in the 4 months since your surgery (I can't believe it has only been 4 months). You are doing great.

Thanks! They do a pretty good job on the superslabs so long as you stay right. The rest is just...spacing and careful driving.

And thanks again! Some days it feels like a year or yesterday, depending. :) still waiting for a big kick of energy to come in!

G'morning all!

LOL at that meme. Sometimes I'm not even hilarious, just a bad *****

Yesterday was a rest day for me, physically. When you hike and see steep uphills you think to yourself "on the way back this is all downhill", not realizing when you are going downhill and your legs have already walked about 7 miles, steep downhill is not that fun. The last 3 miles of our hike my muscles on the outer side of my knee were very tight to the point of me almost limping. Yesterday I just iced it and kept it elevated while at my desk. By 4:00 pm and time to walk Luna the pain was almost gone.

Here are few pics of the beautiful scenery and the reason why CA is called the golden state.

QOTD: I like Mel's ideas. Maybe some toys looking like Lego blocks, a doll, or hot wheels?

My meals yesterday:

  • Coffee
  • TJ kebabs & Fage yogurt
  • Parm cheese, chomp stick
  • Spring roll in a bowl
  • E: Rest Day

Happy taco tue!
