Good mornin everyone!

I went to see my psychiatric NP yesterday to hopefully get help only to be preached to. That I'm on to many meds and if they don't help now then nothing likely will. That my other meds have side effects like more depression and they interact with the psych meds. It was a bunch of horse **** I swear I am just about done with this stuff. She talked over me and wouldn't let me get a word in to say I am in counseling. I don't expect miracles. But I do expect professionalism. So sorry my mental health doesn't fit into your tidy little boxes.

I'm not a f-ing child. I am seriously fed up with doctors and esp nurse practitioners atm. I have been failed on pretty much every level possible. I've let it make me feel even more worthless than normal.

I think I'll have to find a new psychiatrist and I freaking hate that process. I'll talk to my counselor about it today. I know I am on to many meds but hell I didn't put myself on them!

As for the bag JB, so many possibilities! For things geared for adults things like diamonds/jewelry, electronics, money and a funny one could be gift cards. Like Jen mentioned toys could always work too!

B: JUST egg souse vide bites and coffee

L: probably beans again

D: ????

S: popcorn and ????

For the jewelry part you could do Tiffany boxes. Electronics maybe an apple like logo.

Sometimes it feels like medical folks are literally trained to professionally ignore patients. The ones who listen and respond feel like the unicorns of the bunch. Hope your counselor is able to provide more feedback and that you're able to move forward. And that it doesn't affect your upcoming pump!

I am confused of why they do not manage your meds instead of saying you're on too many. Do they not take you off meds that are not working before you get a new one. I am sorry you have to go through this. I know from Ron how the run around goes. Hope you get resolve in the near future.

Good morning wonderful humans!

QOTD- How about candy canes, little wrapped gift boxes, or Xmas trees? Or stuffed stockings.

Was up working past midnight. Just getting around now to head to the office. We had some rain and mixed weather last night. For fun on the way home yesterday after passing one of the road treatment trucks, I attempted to count the number of bridges and overpasses. 20 on the stretch of interstate south of town. Didn't count on the first 26 miles or the 9 once I got off the superslab. That to say, the drive in is fun after six hours of rain and then freezing temperatures. :) wish me luck!

Four months since surgery today. Because I take forever to warm up in bed, I was reading back through "old" posts here. Interesting to see both how far I've come and how far there is yet to go. What a journey! Thank you, all.

Accountability- Good!

Exercise - walking laps at the office today on whatever lunch time I can find. Elliptical tonight.

Menu

Deviled egg halves x3 - last of them!

Low carb chicken enchilada casserole

Ricotta tart with sun-dried tomatoes and kalamata olives

Chicken pot pie

Happy Tuesday, everyone!

freezing rain is the worst - we used to get that in the winter when I lived down south. I'd rather drive on snow!
