QOTD: Nope, not indoors. When I have tried the cats mess with them too much. I do keep two cases of fresh flowers and they leave those alone most of the time.

Morning QJB and menuers

Short post since I'm in the office with a ton going on!

QOTD- Have a few long haul plants that have made it since 2014 and two short-term ones trying to figure out if they can survive my form of care...which isn't much. I used to pick plants based on the tags that said "thrives on neglect ". Love plants but don't have the best track record with them.

Menu

Egg scramble

Deviled egg halves x3

Chicken enchilada casserole

Chicken pot pie

Spicy beef patty

Have a wonderful day!

Good Morning Queen JB and Menuers,

I failed finding the Stella McCartney Adidas at the outlet store. Ron stepped up and ordered them online for me for my upcoming birthday. The weekend consisted or running around shopping with store coupons, picking up some stuff for Thanksgiving dinner. I also failed to find my Turkey, so I have to run out at lunch today. I buy the Popeye turkey and when we stopped yesterday, they were out. I started with Popeye turkey 3 years ago. Back then they were $50 last year I think they were $75, and I see the cost this year is $98. I cannot bring myself to not get it because it is so good. We also went to church and enjoyed the new TV. I got to see a win from the Steelers and rented Top Gun Maverick that I think I will play on my phone here at work today just because I really loved it.

QOTD: I have 4 that I forget about until I do the elliptical or treadmill. They always seem to stay alive for some reason. I should go check my Christmas Cactus it is huge it may be blooming as well.

I guess I am a cheapo. I also wouldn't pay $98 for a turkey. It would have to be stuffed with lobster! I am happy to buy all the ingredients for thanksgiving and getting a free store brand turkey. I got 2 free ones now. One for thanksgiving and a second for another time!

Teenie - you work hard, you take care of what you need to and if the $98 Popeyes chicken brings you joy then I hope you find it and enjoy the heck out of it.

I am always puzzled by people who don't have anything to do with someone else's financial situation commenting on how they spend their money, whether it's turkeys, purses, cleaning services, vehicles, or what have you. I am 100% sure I make purchases other people would question but when they pay my bills they can have an input.

Enjoy your spicy turkey dinner!

Good morning, everybody!

Baylor got smoked by K State Saturday night, but we had a great weekend otherwise. Got to see DD's new apartment, ate some good food and visited with DD and my sister. Like most of the country, it was freezing in Waco and Dallas over the weekend. Fortunately, we brought hats, gloves and jackets with us.

My sister was in Austin for a business trip, so she suggested that we come down, meet her, and go to the game. It was good to see her as well. I got pictures at Magnolia which I will share on Friday.

I have a 36 hour work trip on Thursday and then that is it for me for the year. We didn't get home until about 1:00 last night, so I am exhausted today. We both slept through the cleaning lady. Heard a little vacuuming, but by the time I went downstairs, she was gone.

Today is mostly work. I will try and lift this evening, but that may require nap to pull off.

QOTD: Marilyn is pretty into gardening, but we don't have any indoor plants at this time. Over the years we have had some from time to time.

Breakfast: Protein bar

Lunch: Roast beef

Dinner: TBD

Have a great day, all!
