Oh fascinating! Didn't know that was a stove feature to autostart. My dishwasher can do that and I use it all the time. Glad you get use from it - sounds very handy!

Yep. :) it was my top of mind example today since I'm cooking. And since my house is small, I store baking sheets and crisper trays in the oven...so it would mean planning to leave them out so I could WiFi the stove on. Maybe someday. :)

Yep! Think my body had to finish catching up on flushing out everything I was retaining after the 9 day road trip. Stalled for 18 days (including the trip) and then it all fell off. Should go back to normal from here, I'd guess. Much less swollen and bloated now, thankfully. :)

Mornin' All!

I'm actually going to go to church this morning. I'm not a church-goer and am not even religious, but one friend of mine is the main pastor at a Presbyterian church in town, and another friend of mine just moved here from Missouri, and she's a lifelong Presbyterian and wants to go. In addition, she used to live here about 40 years ago, and back then she was a member of this particular church to boot. So...off we go! DH and I have a hair appt this afternoon. The hairdresser's mother died a few days ago, though, so there's a chance she may cancel the appt - and I told her that was fine if she did - we'd totally understand. But so far, it's on. Other than that, not much going on today. I really need to do some reading and get caught up with classes. I'd planned to do that Friday and yesterday but didn't get very far.

QOTD: people who forget to turn their blinker off after they've turned a corner. I hate hate hate being stuck behind these people - I'm so annoyed by the blinker!!

B: chocolate "mousse" with light Cool Whip and raspberries (although I may switch this up - I had a reaction when I typed this - sounds way too rich for this early in the day. So something else that may tie me over until lunch time (since I'll be at church this morning) - maybe skyr with chia seeds or a protein muffin??). Coffee with half & half

MS: nuttin'

L: salad with pulled chicken and light dressing

AS: if I don't have a protein muffin for breakfast, then that.

D: I think I might make "eggroll in a bowl" again - with less ground turkey and more vegetables this time. I need volume.

ex: I'd better do something. Probably a walking or cardio dancing video.

have a great Sunday, all!

Ooh. I went to church today, too! It was to drop off the stuff I bought for the community food pantry. You're a good friend, supporting her getting used to being back in town. I'm sure it's appreciated.

Good morning! It's a crispy 48 here and I'm trying to be productive. The front porch and storm door are clean and shiny and the summer bed cover is in the laundry. Think I'm ready for the winter cover. We had a wonderful day yesterday, but Rog seems to have a bounce back of the stomach bug. And one of the grand kids has it now. So I am on stand by to have them the next two days if they can't make it to school. Poor little things.

Accountability for yesterday was 100 % on food, plus 3 glasses of wine between the theater and the restaurant. But I did get the stairs done yesterday morning.

QoTD: Dog owners who don't clean up after their dogs while walking them.

Menu:

B: crack chicken and a bit of avocado I must use up

L: deli turkey, cheese, pop chips

D: TBD. If Rog is eating I will make a meal, if not I will scrounge something up for me.

Not sure on exercise yet, but I will put in a hefty walk, do the stairs or do a yoga session.

Peace Everybody.

Hello Melody and Menu Friends

today I have inferno Pilates. A massage this afternoon (yay!). I need to get my nails and toes done. If not today then tomorrow. I did make it to the grocery store yesterday but didn't stock up for thanksgiving because I thought we were going to MT since DH was feeling guilty about not going (his mom was disappointed). But then he said he was cool with staying in town. So I might get back tot he store to get some items. I did go shopping, got my free turkey for spending >$150. That doesn't really take much anymore. Maybe I will end up with a second turkey! GreaT for my salads.

I woke up early again. It seems that I wake up around 5am most days. I have already done a few tasks around the house, ironed DHs work clothes for the week, etc. pretty productive in the mornings.

QOTD: people not picking up after themselves. DD is notorious for this. I tell her she is a human wrecking machine.

Accountability: excellent.

B: triple zero Greek yogurt with keto granola, blueberries, cold brew with half n half

L: summer salad with chicken light poppy seed dressing

S: protein frosty

D: Asian chicken salad with light sesame ginger dressing

S: 4 squares sf chocolate, sf protein frosty

E: 60 min inferno pilates

It's amazing how much you can get done early in the morning before the world wakes up. :)
