Good morning! Here to keep me on track, so thank you Melody for starting us out! We seem to have survived the stomach bug and both of us are back to human. Thank goodness. We have tickets for Hamilton today and it was a very dicey situation yesterday. I chased after grandkids and Roger stayed in the bedroom away from us all for the entire day yesterday.

Accountability: I did not one moment of intentional exercise yesterday. I just could not get the free time while the girls were here, and then I just flat out did not want to do a thing in the evening. A simple yoga program could have nailed my goal and probably would have felt good, but no. I sat in a chair and read. Food wise I did great and another day of just fake coffee and water only.

QoTD: Thanksgiving. We travel with our son every year and since we go to Mexico, it's not a holiday for them and it's fun and relaxing. Lots of card playing in the evenings, laughing, singing with the oldies and hanging by the pool. This year we are going to Valle de Guadalupe and it's only about a 90 minute drive from home.

Menu today is going to be a bit dicey. Seeing the show with my best bestie, and that will mean wine as well.

B: last little piece of meatloaf and cottage cheese

L: I made a crock of crack chicken yesterday, so some of that

D: going to a steak house, so I'm not sure. But yes to a big jammy cabernet.

Exercise. Leaving the house within the hour to hit up the stairs since I have been a slug for two days.

Peace Everybody!

That's part of Mexico I'd love to visit. I watch Patti's Mexican Table A LOT. I see the food and just want to visit so much of Mexico. It's really a beautiful country!

A couple of years before kids DH and I went to Hawaii for thanksgiving. We hit up an awesome buffet that had both traditional thanksgiving foods and some Hawaii inspired options. It was so good. Sounds like your thanksgivings are fun.

Afternoon Mel and weekend menuers,

Hope your procedure is sooner rather than later for you, and that you get done everything you have planned for today. Sounds busy!

QOTD- Based solely on childhood recollections, Thanksgiving. We do use holidays now as times to get together, so I'll be visiting family then.

Haven't been incredibly productive today since I've been sitting in front of the heater, cuddling my suddenly super affectionate doggo, and meal planning. Few ingredients needed for cooking, so will probably be the 6am shopper again. Plus dishwasher is on since I need the crock pot for all the chicken. Hoping to make a big chicken pot pie, a bagriatric-friendly chicken enchilada casserole with cheese sauce, and a savory ricotta pie or tart of some kind since I have quite a lot to be used.

I guess one thing accomplished was deep cleaning the Roomba. Need to do laundry, change bed linens, and add a winter quilt to the mix. Love a good quilt. Still plenty of day left to get all of this and more done. :)

Will also say that there are bones sticking out of places more these days. One negative to losing padding, I suppose. Kind of interesting how it starts coming to notice all at once.

Oh, and I dug my coat out of the closet yesterday. Keeping in mind it's from Lane Bryant, was still a bit floored when I put on the size 10/12 I'd bought on clearance years ago and it fit. It's the only smallish coat I have since the rest of the non 3x's went to my mom. Guess I have my fitted winter duds. It's about as tight as I can tolerate zipped but I'm sure it'll fit better in another month. Yay for the small things. :)

Today's menu

Deviled egg halves x3 with hot sauce

Keto chili I didn't finish the other day with a bit of sour cream and cheese

Yogurt and seaweed

Chicken andouille sausage with mustard

Cheers, everyone!
