Beautiful earrings. Do you have other colors? You are such a bad influence on my jewelry spending!

Good morning and yay Friday! I think I mentioned that I got off Twitter about 10 days ago and my personal internet time has really decreased and I love it. I am definitely not looking into any of the other social media options because why add a time suck back.

It's a first world problem but so annoying, isn't it? When I do grocery delivery, I set it to no substitutions because the substitutions tended to be weird, not just like this type of soup for that type of soup but this soup is gone so let me give you salad dressing.

I finished my November rowing challenge and I'm happy about that; I'm going to try to finish the November yoga challenge next! I was glad that I planned ahead and left my iPad downstairs yesterday morning, I didn't want to do a 2nd workout but I wanted my iPad so I had to go get it...and then since I was down there I did a quick boxing series so that was great.

Today I have to take my car to the shop for a pre-road trip service, have a full day of our monthly leadership report out meetings that I will start listening into from there plus a couple of meetings I have to actually participate in (my favorite will be the one with the leader who has decided that he will do his own ISO audits so everyone who knows me is trying to get on that call to be a fly on the wall) and then this afternoon I'm meeting friends to see Wakanda Forever and then dinner after. Should be a good day!

QOTD - haven't started and except for the two tiny ones, I'm seriously think of skipping it all and just giving cash. I won't but I'm thinking about it, lol. I'll actually do it all be thanksgiving and the first weekend in December.

menu today

coffee plus half and half X2

deli chicken breast X2

slice of pumpkin chocolate loaf with PBZ

my pictures are of the last gasp of fall rose and then some of my lunar eclipse pictures from Tuesday. I know everyone loved the "blood' moon but I really prefer seeing the shadow on the moon.

Have a fantastic friday everyone!

I am so impressed by your pictures, as usual!

And, yes--my Instacart "problem" is not really a problem, is it? Someone brought food to my house... I am good ;) But I did select "no subs" and got bad ones, anyway. She was just not paying attention at all. Oh well. The casserole thing was not my first choice and I won't get it again, but it was food, and I am grateful.

Good morning, everybody!

Love the blueberry pies, JB!

Up early because I have a European conference call this morning.

I am thinking of doing a Reindeer Run on December 3rd. It's only 5K. I haven't done a Road Race since the 2019 Reindeer Run, actually. But I run enough days at Crossfit that I am pretty confident I can finish without walking. I won't be trying to break 30 minutes like last time. Probably 40 for a goal. I believe that all runners get antlers. And I do love decorative headgear.

Yesterday they put 5 sugars in my coffee. Got dressed (semi), drove to Dunkin Donuts, ordered an extra large, brought it home, took one sip and yup, its a sugar bomb. In terms of why I wouldn't drink it the ordering is as follows: 1) dumping, 2) blood sugar, 3) taste, 4) calories. So I saved it for Marilyn, who of course said "5 sugars, I hate that." So, I poured it in the sink.

I finished the new Jack Reacher book, No Plan B. It's the first Andrew Child collaboration that I thought was any good.

We don't leave until 4:30 this afternoon. This weekend should be pretty laid back, but we have a late flight home on Sunday night. We are going out to dinner tonight, but I can't open the text icon to see what the restaurant is. DD usually picks good places, so I am sure that we will enjoy it. UPDATE - Restaurant is called Sky Blossom Bistro and I am thinking the Korean Barbecue.

QOTD: I haven't started yet. In general, Marilyn does all of the shopping except: Marilyn, my trainers and weightlifting coach and my admin.

I should have listened to Jen and bought Marilyn this necklace last January. It was marked down 33%. Now, not only is it not marked down, but it is marked up 20% from where it was last year. But I have nightmares of the Christmas Vacation scene where Chevy Chase finds the too cleverly hidden Mothers Day present while he is trapped in the attic.

Breakfast: Bagel

Lunch: chicken Shwarma

Dinner: Not sure, if I find the restaurant I will update

Have a great day, all!
