I got sucked into buying the billion dollar knives when my nephew was selling them. It's been about 20 years though and they are still great!

That's good to hear. The same company makes Marine Corps combat knives, so I expect the quality is good. Will we use them for any quality cooking is a different question.

Good Morning Queen JB and Menuers,

QJB so glad you're soaking up that self-care that is well deserved. We all get so down on ourselves. We are always looking at what we did not do other than what we did do. You're doing great in everybody's book. Tell you head to knock it off!!!!

Shelia, Thank you so much for Volunteering. That is very admirable. I will pray for your armpits. LOL

So yesterday was a great day. The TV is awesome. I loved seeing the sweat and sand on the players of Survivor last night. I did realize that is may have been my fault that my ho****er tank took a dive so early. I had it at the hottest setting and the installer said that is a bad move. Lesson Learned. We did end up keeping the old freezer so that Ron can keep it running. Really no need for 2 upright freezers but the old one has a top refrigerator section that is not available in freezers any longer so as long as he can keep it alive, I want to keep it. And like I said yesterday I can Horde cheesecakes, so I never have to worry about a last-minute invite.

QOTD: I been rocking my morning exercise. I also have been less quick to react to things people say or do that annoy me. I give it time and put myself in their shoes. I realize you never know what someone is going through. They just may need a little grace. And I have not danced or sang in the office about the nemeses leaving. Maybe a little in the warehouse with the manager but not in the office.

Accountability: Grazed dinner. When I have stuff going on in the evening I snack before I go and when I get in, I graze instead of making a plate and be done eating. No, it doesn't work. And yes, I continue to do it expecting better results.

You are fast. You must be jogging, my average times are 18-21 minutes a mile walking depending on the terrain. Is that Runkeeper or another app?

Yes Runkeeper. I just use the free version. I don't need all the bells and whistles. I have been running the downs and flats and walking the hills. There is tons of elevation to my run. I wish OH took Video. I'd let you all see the one hill I do between Mile two and 3 it is a killer.

You do have a lot of wins recently, especially with having your injury, then surgery, off exercise for so long. Be proud and loud! Great job on continuing to exercise and for self-awareness. Also, for not gleefully exclaiming your excitement to the office your nemesis is leaving. I admire the fact that you are practicing patience with other people (and yourself by the sounds of it).

Good morning! So happy to be back among the living. That was a rough 24 hours. And just in time too, as we have the grands tonight and all day tomorrow. Yesterday was my scheduled rest day, and I literally could not have taken more advantage of that. I feel like I got in about 300 steps the whole day. But I made good food choices and stuck to protein and water. Today, Rog isn't feeling great so I hope I didn't share my icky germs.

Today I must get out for groceries. But first, the stairs. It's 46 here and I am hoping I can wait until it hits 50. Then I can clean up and get food to feed little mouths and adult ones as well. Dinner last night ended up being freezer turkey meatballs and edamame pasta. Not exciting at all. Also have the painter coming over to fix a peeling spot from our fresh paint job late last year.

QoTD: I am very proud of participating in the HIIT classes and doing the stairs.

Menu is still a bit dicey, but so far:

B: last of rotisserie chicken breast and 2 ounces cottage cheese

L: no idea

D: I have hamburger defrosted I need to use. Maybe a low carb meat loaf, with roasted acorn squash on the side. Mac and cheese for the kids. And a salad if I'm real hungry.

Peace Everybody!
