I find it hard to advocate for myself in these types of scenarios especially when you are not sure what your boss is thinking. Great job on being your own advocate for yourself and owning your job progression.

Oh no! I certainly couldnt drive if I took benedryl. Hope Em's rash improves quickly. Maybe a topical would also be helpful.

Thanks! John took her to urgent care just to make sure it wasn't something more. They did prescribe a steroid and topical and oral meds. We have no idea what caused it since she hasn't eaten anything new.

Good morning, everybody!

A couple of weeks ago, my youngest texted us "can you help my friend with something for his major?" So, eager to help out our kids we said "yes." Well it turns out that the friend was a marketing major and for his school internship he had taken a job selling knives. Not the best internship that I could think of, yikes.

We listened to the long, long knife selling pitch and, of course ordered some expensive knives that we didn't really need. They came this week. Yay knives. Yes we have some Shun knives that Marilyn is scared of already.

Fortunately, I am convinced that the youngest did not play us, but remains blissfully ignorant of what marketing, internships, direct selling, etc are. And he is so shy that he would never sign up to be a salesman of any sort.

We did a 55th birthday workout for a friend last night:

It took about 19 and a half minutes.

When I got home, my friends wanted to have the regular Wednesday Happy Hour. We had a short, kind of mellow one.

QOTD: In general, I have been doing an inordinate amount of playing this fall and haven't accomplished anything of note. I did found a potential internship for a friend's college aged son.

Breakfast: Egg sandwich

Lunch: Roast Beef

Dinner: Hamburgers

I shouldn't be allowed to use knives in general. Do you remember about a year ago I sliced my thumb at work cutting my fruit?

I remember buying those expensive knives when my niece got out of college and was selling them. I always support my nieces and nephews no matter what they are selling.
