Does the energy company (or gas) have any offers for more energy efficient HVAC units? Many do, if you haven't checked you should.

I agree that meeting new people is a great positive on your part. It would be for me also as I am not exactly a social butterfly. Now more so with the weight loss but not as much as I wish I was.

QJB-Great news on the extra cookie orders and making triple what you did in September! It is so exciting that your business is booming and growing. I love your enthusiasm this week. It is hard to make multiple changes at once, so much easier to focus on 1-2 items at a time. Since you enjoy your alcohol in the evening, maybe you should work it into your menu each day but focus on maintaining the serving size. Too bad you couldn't buy individual serving size bottles.

I have several meetings this morning. I have been nominated as a chair for a recognition committee for the organization. I have a meeting with my co-chair today who I have never met before. Other than that, I have an IPL appt this afternoon followed by a yoga workout.

QOTD: I was proud of my 4.0 in my MSN degree when I graduated in June. Catching up on the "missing" yoga classes for my 30 in 30 days. Plus, the No Excuse November eating plan so far has been spot on.

Accountability: Excellent-I did switch out my dinner for a Weigh****chers Italian Style Wedding Soup (I made for my DD since she felt she wanted some healthier options for dinner, lots of extra veggies) since I was feeling bloated. I ended up with getting less calories doing this, more protein and less carbs.

B: triple zero greek yogurt with keto granola, blueberries, cold brew with half n half

L: Summer salad with chicken, light poppy seed dressing

S: protein frosty

D: Asian chicken salad with light sesame ginger dressing

S: 4 squares sf chocolate, protein frosty

E: 60 min hot power yoga

Have an excellent pre-Friday.

Actually I usually have a 100 calorie seltzer from a can rather than wine, so it really is a one serving size situation. And I did used to add it to MFP and plan for it. But over time I am finding that I can't stop at one. I never, ever, ever intend to have a second one, but once I start I am no longer capable of making intelligent decisions so I have two. Or three. It's abstinence or bust for me right now.

I hear you. Me and popcorn can be an issue. that is why for No Excuse November I have mostly eliminated it from my diet as I tend to not know when to stop.

G'morning all!

A jog is a jog, whether intentional or behind a margarita truck. I consider every step that my watch counts as something I did in addition to my daily plans.

Have a dermatologist appt today for a freckle my PCP wanted him to have a look at. It's just a freckle but she wants to make sure it's not new or growing. I thought these problems are just for fair skin people, not olive skin. Oh well, I'm going and we shall see.

QOTD: I am proud of volunteering at the polls at every election (since Gore v Bush - even when I couldn't vote). And I am proud of not reacting the way is my natural instinct against the Karens in the last couple of elections.

My meals yesterday:

  • Coffee
  • Mex cauli rice + ground turkey
  • Iced coffee w/PP, Parm cheese
  • Hb eggs + tuna
  • E: 10K Wog

Happy almost Fri-yay!

That is impressive; I love that you volunteered before you could even participate!

That's how it started. I was so frustrated I couldn't vote that it was my way to be part of it.

My brother-in-law in West Virginia was running after the Mountain Dew truck when the elastic on his jogging pants came loose and they ended up around his ankles. Some of my memories are so funny now and someday I might write a book about them. He lived on a road called Stoney Lonesome.

He was the spoiled baby brother in a family of 13 children. My husband was 10th in that family. Danny Paul lived with his mother until she passed away. She did everything for him, including making his car payments whenever he forgot to do it.

He was about 35 and had dated the same girl for more than 10 years. One day he was at McDonalds and saw a girl working at the drive thru who looked exactly like a much younger version of his girlfriend. He bought a diamond engagement ring and handed it to the girl at the drive through and proposed when she gave him his takeout order.

She said, Yes and they had a wedding. Danny's girlfriend was at the wedding and was in the bathroom crying her eyes out. The 20 year old from McDonalds took him for everything she could get and then divorced him after a year. After that he lived alone with his cat until he passed away at 62.
