What's on your Wednesday Menu?

Happy Hump Day, Gang! I had a great extra day off yesterday. I did lots of things to get organized with the business and I got to do some creative stuff, too. Today should be the same :) I might try to get ahead of a little school work again, too, because it felt nice to be ahead this week and I will try to do it again.
I woke up with a killer headache. I think it will pass, but I am being honest that I didn't exercise yet. I will get myself of the treadmill as soon as my eyes uncross.
QOTD: If you had an hour left to live, what album would you like to listen to? I would put on Dolly Parton's greatest hits! Joshua, Life is Like a Butterfly, Bargain Store. Coat of Many Colors, I Will Always Love You...

Good mornin everyone.
Yesterday sucked. I got into see the pain management clinic at 8 am. They refused to give me anything for the pain. Saying that nothing helped enough to warrant it. I told them some relief is better than none at all...might as well of been farting in the wind. I was and am so angry. The motto of this group is "the pain stops here". Yeah right.
My cough is getting better slowly but surely. My weight isn't budging at all. I do have fasting bloodwork this morning and I'm hoping the Ozempic is at least helping with the A1c stuff. Other than the blood work we may run to Sam's after and then home. We are those people that are putting up Christmas decorations. It makes my mom happy so it's worth it,

So sorry to hear that Mel. It sounds like your pain clinic has been nothing but unhelpful for months. :( hoping today is a better day for you.

They are pretty worthless. They at least got the pain pump stuff ordered.
I also found out I have two types of neuropathy...yay? Lol
thanks!
Mel
Melody, my weight didn't change until I was taking 1.0.

I am sorry you did not get the help you were seeking regarding the pain. I hope that when you finally get the pain pump you will get some relief. Wish that dang cough would go away.

Good morning and yay for Wednesday, the half way point!!
Busy day today but it's chunked into a couple of 3 hour meeting blocks, work time and then another 3 hour meeting block so will be nice. I'm having an early virtual book club with some friends too -- since it's early, I did make sure to do my rowing for my November challenge this morning; if I stay on task, I'll be done on Friday!
QOTD - either Water Taxi by William Topley or Southeastern by Jason Isbell....or could just go crazy and go out with a bang with The Greatest Showman or Six soundtracks!
