walnuts are my least favorite nut (although I'll eat them). I love pistachios and toasted pecans the most, I think - well, pretty much any nut more than walnuts. Unfortunately, they're supposed to be the most nutritious of all!

I may not agree with you about sweet potato and green bean casseroles, but you have me with NO walnuts in any dessert. Fudge, brownies, cookies... Who's bright idea was that? Mind you I love walnuts plain, on salads and in chicken salad. Worlds apart.

Good morning ~ I hope you feel better soon Mel. Last night I only made it to 7pm before calling it a night. I was wiped out. Up at 6 this morning which is late for me. That's 11 solid hours of glorious sleep! Instead of the park - Rob just took the dogs around the block thins morning. Shortly, we are dropping our girl at the groomers, grocery shopping, working on the Vault, hiking with my kiddo, In n Out for lunch (I haven't stopped thinking about since yesterdays thread!), back to finish the vault. It will all get done today if it kills me.

QOTD - I am super simple and traditional when I make Thanksgiving dinner at home - nothing fancy or funky. Roast turkey, pan gravy, simple stuffing in the bird, regular mashed potatoes, yes- sweet potatoes with tons of marshmallows, and HELL YES - green bean casserole. I don't care about rolls or pie believe it or not. If at other people house I roll with whatever is there. It's fun to try different things too.

Yesterday:

b- coffee x 2, L&F yogurt

l- Real good chicken enchiladas

d- eggs w/cheese and two very thin pieces bacon

s - Persian cucumber w/tajin and 2 little Campari tomatoes eaten like apples

+ 15 ounces of white wine. I tried to tiny sip but no dice. I think it would work better with Red so I'll try that

e- 45 minutes on the treadmill, logged 58 active minutes for the day

Getting it completely set up today was such a work out but it's DONE! I can't wait to use it for real - hopefully tomorrow. Unfortunately - just playing around with it today, the workouts wouldn't load? Hopefully tomorrow whatever quirk that caused that will be gone. The machine and the equipment are su*****redible quality I LOVE IT!

I had to reboot my equipment twice today; I think the last ifit/Nordictrack thing update was less then optimal- hopefully that's all it is for you too!

Good Morning Menuers

today is my kids concert. Luckily I can get my 90 minute hot yoga in before the concert. I am still short 2 workouts to makeup for my vacation days. I hope to be caught up after Monday. I will be happy to just focus on the one workout each day. The Anne Frank Diary play last night (at the high school) was good. The kids did a nice job of acting and the set was very professional looking. I may not get my hike in this weekend depending on the weather plus DD has some homework she needs to get done.

my first weigh in since vacation I was exactly the same as before vacation but still up 2 lbs from where I want to be I am hoping that No Excuse November will get me back to 130 lbs or lower

Melody-I am sending a PM regarding the necklace. Have you tried tessalon perles for your cough? Although if it is related to post-nasal drainage those won't help. It is a prescription.

QOTD: my husbands family makes a meat stuffing for thanksgiving that is very good. When I first saw it I was turned off since it sort of resembles dog food. My favorite item at thanksgiving is the bread stuffing so that is a must for me.

Haven't tried the tessalon pearls in ages. I should've gone to the doctor with this crud but I'm stubborn...with a twist of stupid.

I'm not a bread dressing sort of person. I like it with certain stuff in it but my family is kind of boring with it. I like sausage and cranberries and not too heavy on the sage. I also prefer cornbread used in it.
